I will never, ever go back to this doctors office again. If i could give it no stars I would. Dr. Karr is awesome, I wish he’d go somewhere else to be a physician. The staff that works there are the most unprofessional staff… I have ever encountered. I told so many at first when I started going there about this place… and how good it was. Now My only thought is just telling them to to stop. My sister, Husband, and others. They do not care about their patients. They are so rude! I will not go into the whole story, just trust me … if you go here STOP!! They treated me so horribly. They’ll not get another dime of my money. Good riddance!
First visit with him, after moving to Florence. We saw his excellent Nurse Practitioner the week before our visit with Dr Karr. They ordered tests done in his office, so by the time we met with Dr Karr, he had results to discuss with us. We are happy to have his help.
Calm, mild mannered and easy to speak with. Very thorough in communication and speaks in terms you can understand. A true keeper!
Am not at all happy with his "practice." I have technically been a patient for a year, but have only seen him once. (When I was sick.) Otherwise, his practice runs me through every three months for "blood work." After about an hour in the waiting room (crammed in even with covid). Some nurse says hi, takes my blood pressure. And some lady (after waiting another 30 minutes) takes blood. It is a Medicare puppy mill. They are making LOTS of money. I am getting zero personal care. Their files are all messed up. They can't even find test results in my file from tests I had in their own building. He was nice that one time I met him briefly a year ago. Nurses are nice. Not acceptable in terms of serious care.
He is the only family doctor I trust. He’s a good man and will find the solution to the problem instead of trying to cover it up with a prescription. I told him I was having chest pains and I thought it was stress, it was a rib popped out. Other doctors would have wrote a prescription.
Dr. Aaron Karr is a great doctor. He was friendly, understanding, and careful about my needs. I would send any of my family to him for care. He give the meds that a patient needs, not what the patient wonts. He does whats good for the patient. Thats why he is a good doctor.
Dr.Karr and his whole, cash only for the new addiction list is nothing but a money making drug market. his only anwser for opiate addicts is to give them a drug that is higher in cost and never ending the need to end the pill popper addicts who steal just for the dr to write them their same path to jail, or death. He had no interest in getting me off withdrawls from addiction. He loves the cash only no exceptions rule. Which for addicts is a mandatory way of life to steal just for drugs. Each Friday he strolls in, late of course, and starts writing a new form of poison. Different drug Same effect. I would love to see him take exactly what he passes off as miracle medicine, and watch how he feels when slowed down or stopped. Great work you provide for all the families effected by your power to make our loved ones who wanted and believed to be recovered, withdrawls and just for Dr. Karr a fancy vacay home. Hope you invite your patients to dinner, we would love to see subox decor.
Dr. Karr was one of the best doctors in the Gallipolis area. We hated to lose him! He has relocated to Alabama.
chooses his patients and nurse runs off who he dont want anymore
I think Dr. Karr is an amazing doctor. He is very caring and takes the time to listen and to offer the help needed to solve medical problems. He is my favorite doctor of all time!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
