I like Dr. Ridgeway as a doctor but when I go down there, I always have to see the nurse practitioner. I don't like that. I prefer to see the Dr. but they always put me in with the nurse practitioner. And when you ask for the doctor, the staff is very rude and unprofessional. When you call and ask to speak to a nurse, they won't put you down and you never get a call back. They're very hateful, like you're bothering them if you ask them to do anything. They get smart with you. They try to tell you what you can and cannot do with appointments and tests, but they won't let you speak to the doctor when you want to ask for his opinion. So for that reason, I'm giving him a 4 star. I'm very upset with the whole situation and am thinking of changing doctors.

Dr Ridgeway saw me in the first couple of visits, listened, developed a treatment plan with me. Then I got to see the PA, didn't agree with Dr Ridgeway and basically referred me out and dropped me! As I was leaving, Ridgeway was sitting in the hallway after I was told he wasn't there by the PA!

He’s a great Dr himself but his front office staff is AWFUL and very very UNPROFESSIONAL! They don’t do what they’re supposed to do like send over paperwork to pharmacies etc... next appointment I am talking to him about it. Have even had them even get smart with me so will be addressing the issue with him directly!

I trusted Dr Ridgeway, but after the first visit got handed off to a PA. This guy blatantly lied to me and referred me to a psychiatrist because he's too much of a coward to write a C-IV Rx. Appears Dr Ridgeway "trolls" the hospitals as a Hospitalist for patients, then abandons you to an inexperienced PA. I'm not paying to see a glorified nurse, and the doctor doesn't seem to give a shit!

Great physician, courteous, same for his staff. Front office very unprofessional. Have been hung up on, refused to have the dr. Or nurses return calls of importance about meds.

After being diagnosed with Histoplasmosis in Huntsville AL, I wanted a pulmonologist closer to home. Dr Ridgeway agreed to accept me and has followed me closer than the specialist in Huntsville. Very concerning and caring provider. I would and have highly recommended Dr Ridgeway to anyone seeking a large city provider in a small town.
