If you schedule an appointment, be prepared for an hour+ wait beyond the time. Bowling is very down to earth. Staff is fair to good. The Shoals area is very lacking for a family doc. The choices are very limited. Terry True is good, if you don't mind coming back every month.

My father always has to wait a LONG time in a very crowded waiting room. Chaos and confusion are two words that come to my mind while sitting with dad waiting. After the wait, we see the nurse practitioner. I know Dr. Bowling has been recovering from a needed surgery, however, even before the surgery, the wait was terrible, getting a call back re lab results near impossible, and simply getting medicine from pharmacy (who also cannot seem to get through to his office) took an unacceptable amount of time. Very, very poor office management.
