Abbas Chothia's Online Review Report Card

I don’t usually write reviews but feel it’s necessary as one of his recent patients. Unfortunately I was in need of a cardiologist due to a serious heart issue. Fortunately I was greeted by a professional office and staff. My experience with Dr. Chothia was exceptional and life changing. If you want a professional, to the point, and sincerely caring doctor-that’s been my experience.

Ask the staff! His own staff even hates him. They have to apologize on his behalf all the time, is what I was told after he made me leave the office crying. A nurse came after me to apologize.

This doctor had over 20 public negative reviews. A complaint was made to Sutter Gould and the reviews were printed out and showed to a S.G. representative and office manager. Just a week later and every review is gone! How and why? No sensitive or confidential patient information was in the reviews.

This “Doctor” gives the word “Doctor” a bad name. This man is so unprofessional, unreliable and completely careless. It took him 20 days to return a call about a new medication. Being a cardiologist, any and all medications are serious and should be treated as such. After he finally returned his unimportant patients phone call, he started the call off with a bad attitude, sounding annoyed, cuts you off while talking and the last sentence he said was “you’re too much trouble” and hung up. There was a certified letter sent in the mail stating that he basically fired his own patient for asking a medical related question. He needs to be the one fired!🤦🏼‍♀️

Super rude, talks condescendingly to people, talks over you, Said to google a question that a patient had. His staff cant even stand him.
