I am currently 65 years old. Dr. Hafron performed a very successful Aquablation Robotic procedure on me. I had a prostate that was 200 grams (5-times the normal size prostate), which greatly impaired my ability to urinate. The procedure removed a great amount of prostate tissue using water jets that were robotically guided. The Aquablation procedure required an overnight stay in the hospital, and I was sent home with a catheter for (3) days. After the catheter was removed, I was immediately able to urinate with a stream like I had back in my 20's. There was some discomfort for about 1-month during the healing period, but after about 5-Weeks, there was hardly any pain or discomfort. Also - there were NO SEXUAL SIDE EFFECTS. No problem attaining an erection, and no Retro Grade ejaculation. Dr. Jason Hafron is a terrific Urologist and will listen to you. I highly recommend him as your urologist.

It is unbelievably unfortunate for those who found his care anything but excellent. I can assure those few and any others who are currently in need of urological care that there are none better than Dr. Hafron.

An awful experience!! Had surgery for a kidney stone and literally had to read on “My Chart” what exactly happened in the OR. Didn’t talk to me or text family member afterwards. I had 2 stones, laser treatment and stent. He never even sent a resident to follow up. See anyone but him.

I am very grateful for the care I’ve received since being diagnosed with a cancerous kidney mass this past winter. This is my second bout with cancer since having a hysterectomy over a decade ago. It seemed somewhat surreal to me that what started out as a benign cyst in my kidney morphed into cancer within a couple years. Dr. Hafron delivered the diagnosis to me after my biopsy and though I’d hoped it was benign the truth was it was not. So I had to face yet again the fact I’d need surgery to remove it. Fortunately it was stage 1 - early - so I had approximately 10% of my right kidney removed. Believe me, facing this was not easy emotionally. I was more afraid of the surgery than the cancer. And all the testing was stressful as well though I understand the necessity for continued monitoring especially as I’ve had cancer twice. Anyway, I believe I was fortunate to be referred to Dr. Hafron for my care and treatment. His credentials are impeccable and I recommend him highly.
