List of Saeed Shah's Reviews
This man is a Charlatan. On November 22nd of 2019, this man sent my Step Daughter down to Beacon Behavioral hospital for a completely minor, "offense". She spent six days in a facility that is run like a prison, not a hospital. My hatred for this man in marrow deep. Never use this man for any service!
I hope Dr. Shah would come back to Montgomery, AL, because he is the best Psychiatrist that my husband have had. He I forecoming and very easy to say to and he listens completely.
very nice doctor. he is the best doctor belonging to asia.
I saw Dr Shah for over 5 years. He was convinced my chronic issues were all in my head. I told him I disagreed. He said that he had been a psychiatrist for over 10 years and he knew a psychosematic illness when he saw one. I told him, I have lived in this body for 40 years and I know when something is wrong. After traveling to a respected medical facility in another state, I presented him with evidence that I did indeed have a chronic illness. The first time I saw him speechless, even as I was leaving, he tried to dispute the findings. He thinks he's god and never did apologize for making a wrong diagnosis.
The little druid said I was eating bad beans . I said that they were mine, I could eat them if I wanted to do so and more importantly, my name was on the beans. Also the little druid said I was wrapped too loose. I squeak and the little druid got a false medical claim in the tens of thousands against me for false services rendered. I'M FEELING KIND OF LOOSE NOW YOU SEE.
I used to be a patient of Dr. Shah's when he was at Alabama Phyciatric Services and miss him dearly. I'm even considering going there instead of APS b/c their receptionist have made major mistakes numerous times with my appointments and prescription refills. I would highly reccomend Dr. Shah! He is a very nice and caring person and I feel he is very well educated and highly experienced in physiatric care.
I don't know why all the bad reviews. Dr. Shah DECREASED the harmful medications I was taking such as xanax, but added medications such as topamax and risperdol which did much to increase my quality of life. He seemed very much to know and care what I needed.
Dr. Shah does not have his patients' best interest in mind. He does not listen, and he does not prescribe appropriate medication (in my professional opinion). There seems to be a communication gap and language barrier, Re:his Pakistani Ethnicity. Any Psychiatrist who tells his patient how he/she(patient) feels and argues with the patient if patient disagrees is not listening to his patient/s and does not have their best interest in mind...very poor Psychiatrist...would not recommend that anyone see Dr. Shah.
What a joke. Doesn't care about the patient. Not helpful or willing to listen.
I have never in my life had someone with such a major "God Complex" that he couldn't shut up for a whole 30 seconds and just let me tell him why I was there and spare him his 20 minute spill on his office policy and what his "master-trained and certified psychologysts and counselors" offer. In our 1 hour session, he decided he needed to take a little boys break, answer his desk phone, and then answer his cell just to tell me I needed to give him an answer right that very moment on whether I was on board with his treatment plan or not because he had another appointment waiting. In all this time, he still had not even bothered to ask why I was there or what was wrong. This dude is a complete JOKE!!!! Then as I'm leaving, he gets into his metal on wheels "the appt waiting" and I don't know which was more of a shock...that his metal box cranked or that he thinks he's a good doc??????

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
