Can never see the doctor when needed.

I absolutely love my son’s doctor but we have consistently had problems with the front desk and billing since he has been born. It’s very frustrating having them cancel our appointment the weekend before over complications with our insurance coverage and having to wait over 2 hours to be seen when my child is crying from not feeling well.

I scheduled an appointment for my son over a month in advance, got multiple reminders via text and email including the day before the appointment. Drove 30 min from Hoover to Trussville and was told the nurse had cancelled our appointment early that same day because my son was not due for a vaccine until he turns 12 in about 6 weeks. I did not receive a call, text, or email informing me the appointment had been cancelled. While I love the doctor we see there, management needs to do better with situations like this.

The office staff and nurses were friendly but I do feel as though Dr. Song was very brief and could have been a bit more personable. Both times we visited he engaged with my daughter minimally and I felt like I was digging for information.

Not feeling Dr. Soong at all it seems he does not like to test for things to see if the sickness that your child has is just a cold or something more serious! At least test for it and then make a conclusion my poor daughter now has to come back in to another provider and see can we get her some meds! Just sad!

Dr. Rochelle is an excellent pediatrician. She listens to our concerns, asks thoughtful questions, shares helpful insights, etc. She is so knowledgeable and we trust her to care for our child. It is very easy to schedule an appointment with her using the "Healow" app. We have loved our experience so much that we travel nearly 30 minutes to and from each appointment just to see her.

The wait times are unreal. We’ve had 2 appointments (1 sick and 1 wellness) and the wait times were at least an hour each time. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Please save yourself time and go find another pediatrician. I have to agree with all the bad reviews of this office and Dr. Rochelle. I witnessed all of them. I was warned that calling for appointment was a waste of 2 good hours on hold, that if you needed an appointment drive up there to schedule it. I believe the number called is not even at this location. Dr. Rochelle is rude and full of herself. She only asks questions about your child so she can hear her voice and hear it again as she talks over you. I'm not sure if she was even listening to my wife and I at all until we initiated a question while she was quietly typing. We asked about Vaccines and if we could break up the schedule she had so as not to give our son 6 Vaccines each time we come and space them out over the same time frame. She gave a lame excuse about how it's the CDC recommended guidelines and she's following it. And that if I don't like the schedule that I can find a different pediatrician. I tried to tell her I'm not trying to avoid giving the Vaccines just break them up over the same time frame. She was very rude and her expertise seemed memorized from pharmaceutical pamphlet. She made it seem like the CDC was above making mistakes and she was the sheep blindly following. I actually felt like I was talking to lunatic Democrat politician instead of my child's pediatrician. I need to have communication with my doctor not talked over and run out of the office when I have a concern. It's my son and I strongly distrust Dr. Rochelle's judgements.

SLOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW !!!!!!!!! Every time we come here we sit at least 45 mins plus before we see the doctor. We’re here right now and it’s been over an hour. Other than that, everything else is perfect doctors, staff, all great.
