Billing is a joke. What labs I had done was triple what is usually cost me. LabCorp is way cheaper. I had Blue Cross too.
Abusive staff
Trying to verify a billing issue for years, can’t get in touch with them during business hours. Even the automated system is awful, they are open until 5pm I can’t get an answer at 4:10pm. Am I doing something wrong?
The young lady who pulled my labs this morning was very friendly, very professional, spoke to me with care/kindness and a great sticker!I believe her name is Tyere....the lab is super clean and easy to find. I highly recommend it!
Good experience.
This isn't a review about diagnostics. On Wednesday evening Nov 18 one of your employees pulled up at Midtown Mall, parked car in an area that isn't intended for parking, put the car blinkers on, and casually went inside a business and shopped for 20 minutes while he/she was blocking traffic. If you employ such selfish and irresponsible people I certainly would not trust you to perform any diagnostic services.
READ ALL OF THISMy wife was very sick. The doctor sent my wife to Quest Diagnostics because it was on our insurance. Sure enough the entrance to Quest was plastered with United Healthcare posters. The doctor ordered 3 specific tests. The Quest technician told my wife that she couldn't run one of the tests because she was out of the product she needed and would have to order it. She said she would call us the next morning and schedule another visit. The next day came and went. No phone call. I tried to call Quest at about 3pm. The number wasn't local. There is no local number. I got a Customer Service Phone Rep. She quickly determined that there wasn't anything she could do to help me and told me as much. I said "I need help". She began explaining why she couldn't help me. I asked who is in charge? A manager? She put me on hold. I finally got a manager. Charmaine. She was much more helpful. She looked up the information and examined the matter. PROBLEM: The local lab was already closed! They close at 2pm! It was Friday. Have to wait til Monday! Very sick. Ulcerative Colitis. I hung up. I Called my employers insurance manager. She sent us to Labcorp. Labcorp is great. They're not out of anything. They have a local number. They have professional people. I advise you to save yourself a lot of needless pain and suffering. Make them send you to Labcorp.
I went today around 9:00am for bloodwork. I checked in at the kiosk and was called back immediately. The phlebotomist was professional and pleasant. There were no issues with anything and I was done within 5 minutes of checking in. I did deduct one star due to the location. It's hard to get to if you're coming from Northport. But I will definitely go back here instead of Birmingham in the future.
I live in Greene county. Couldn't find the address thru GPSCalled an 866 area code number, no tuscaloosa number listed. Woman on phone couldn't hep me find place either After an hour driving around, gave up. Will ask my Dr. to send me to Lab Co. What kind of company doesn't provide a local number?
Tried to go to this location at 1:50 on Friday. Hours are until 2pm they were already closed. I pay insurance and your salary and you don’t have The decency to stay ope until 2pm on a Friday!!!! Really??? This truly is the worse company if it wasn’t for insurance companies you wouldn’t have a job. We had an order in your system to go there but you can’t stay open long enough to allow business. Don’t go here they are horrible. If I could give zero stars I would.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
