List of Chad E Austin's Reviews
Dr. Austin is the first doctor I saw for nerve ablation. Because of that, he is the only one I’ll see in the future. Because of the results, I have total confidence in him.
See him for pain management.
Dr. Austin is awesome Doctor! We like him a lot. But in the over 2 years my husband has only seen him a couple of times. Very disappointing. The Office staff is RUDE!!! Wait is always long!!! They are doing drug test every single visit witch would be fine but over 2 years, it is ridiculous. he has never failed one. Insurance pays for only 4 a year. Staff makes you feel as if your name and a check book. It's sad that people are in pain and having to wait as long as they do in waiting room.
They don't return calls and you have to call more than once to try to get them to. Dr. Thomas was a great doctor that listened. Dr. Austin should not practice medicine on humans and not even animals. People in pain deserve to be treated better and need a doc that listens to their problems. They charge hundreds of dollars per visit and the nurse practitioner is the one that you see and they just sit there typing on a lap top. You have to request the day before you go if you want to see the doctor and then they don't look at you are even sit down and listen or touch you at all. These people should not be in the business of treating people in pain. I will report them to the medical authority. They are really robbers. They rob you financially and do nothing for you at all. If you are taking a class 2 drug for your pain, you have to take a urine test every time even you have had clean results for years and years and have a disease that has been diagnosed by doctors. That test cost several hundred dollars so that is how they get the money to open other clinics. The doctor talked over me and didn't want to listen at all. What a horrible experience to be in so much pain and have to deal with these people.
glad I didn't read the reviews before my apt cause it was good to address my issues. its true that bed side manner is to the point but he took the time to figure out my pain problems and explained the medicine plan and reasons. very satisfied so far.
The office was jam packed....like cows to slaughter....immediately I felt like this is the wrong place to be...because it seemed as if ppl were playing musical chairs...in and out the back, then back to their seats.....the nurse and NP came in and asked all the questions....I spent maybe 7 mins w this Dr....I left in tears!!!! He didn't listen whatsoever....our me back on an medication that I told him I had already tried...I'd been on several different things, and couldn't remember why I stopped taking it....but if I stopped,I knew it was a good reason....nevertheless I complied,as he suggested I get a tens unit as well, but my insurance doesn't pay for it...and I can't afford the extra exspense monthly....so I filled the medication and two days later was waken out of my sleep w the worse pain and a burning sensation like fire in my stomach...I remembered then why i stopped taking nucynta!!!! Yes it helped my pain....but it caused adverse side effects that was worse than the initial pain!!! I called the nurse and it took forever to hear back from them....it's really upsetting to be taken off something that was moderately helping w no side,to some you SPECIFICALLY told them you had been on and stopped taking bc of the side effects.....I have kidney stones....and I happen to read that ppl w kidney stones should NOT take this medicine.....maybe if he had taken the time to listen...and look st my history(which I had not completely filled out) then he would've known.... It took longer to fill out my paperwork than it did to go through my visit there....SMH lesson learned... Wish I had say this first...
DO NOT go see this doctor!! He is HORRIBLE!! First of all you NEVER see him only his nurse practitioner. And they will make sure you pay the full $50 and NEVER refund you!! They do not help you when you are in need of help. They told me to just "stick with the pain" for 10 days. OR pay an arm and a leg for a medicine I didn't want. They never listen to you and you will never hear back from the nurse!! The worse place EVER!! I would not send my #1 enemy here. Dr. Austin should not be a doctor!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
