Terrifyingly bad communication. His office called me ~2 days after my appointment stating they were sending me important information to me about a referral to a specialist and I needed to make an appointment RIGHT AWAY. I was in terror for several days awaiting this referral. Nothing came. I called the office and they had no information but said they'd call back. No one called. In the mean time I'm terrified. I called again and spoke to who I believe was the office manager. She said here was no emergency or referral to any specialist. I asked to speak to the Dr but he was too busy. Imagine the terror you'd be in if you had such a call. Especially if you lost a sibling to caner ~1 year prior. I can never forgive Dr. K and his office staff.

Just a good Doc Staff is excellent, Dr. Kauffman always seems to be in a hurry but he is not. He has and takes the time for his patients to be heard. He has been our Doctor for a long time.

Dr Kaufmann was my PCP for 2-3 years. Like the Doctors. Hate the office lady. I will not go back. She messed up my appointment, blamed it on me and refused to take responsibility when i showed them the appointment card. She really needs a different line of work. This lady should not be customer facing.

Dr. Kaufmann is a Rock Star i've been seeing him for 6 years. As a patient, I don't see how anyone could have any complaints with him. He listens, he patient, he includes you in his treatments. He knows what treatments your on to avoid interactions or other complications. He cares about patients and he cares about the reputation of his practice. His credentials are outstanding. He is very likely the most qualified PCP I have ever been to. He is business like but very friendly. I don't want a demeaning doctor, nor one that molly coddles or white washes - he is neither. He is direct in his diagnosis / treatment, but approachable. I wish his staff lived up to his standards. Like every large office, some are great, some need adjustment.

Recommendation Dr. Kaufmann cares about his patients. I never have a problem getting an appointment to see him. I have also seen him without an appointment. He is thorough and very knowledgeable. I trust him with my overall healthcare.

A Nurse Manager has been hired here to screen patients. She does not have an ounce of compassion. Say one word she does not like and she will call you abusive and cancel your appointment. First she will start an argument with you and say you started the argument. Then she will cancel your appointment. Don't even try.Rita Plazo retired neurology R.N.

Dr. Kaufmann has been my physician for the last 3 months. To summarize I think he is a very knowledgeable doctor and every move he's made has worked and I have chronic conditions. I definitely trust his judgment and feel like I am in good hands. Bedside manner leaves something to be desired
