List of Emese Simon's Reviews
My Grandparents went to her for many yrs, and they absolutely adored her. After 30 yrs of specialist, Dr. Simon was the one who helped my Grandmother regain her mobility. Dr. Simon has a wonderful way of explaining accurately to other Drs and to insurance co. the solution. She was the one who got her all the things that she required to keep her out of a wheelchair , and walking even 15 yrs later. I can't say enough to describe my family's gratitude.
The way Dr Simon handled her practice in the last year was a nightmare for existing patients. Only coming to office once a month, a series of staff changes, no records of co pays that I paid in cash and they want me to repay. In the end she closed the practice with three weeks notice with no referral to another doctor. Many patients were on pain meds which left us all in the lurch. My primary care cant even get them to release my medical records to him. Total lack of concern for patients.
Great doctor but she will not give me my medical records back.
Dr Simon's practice closed May 6th. I was notified May 17th. The doctors and staff all lost their jobs when they found the same letter I received in the mail taped to the front door of the practice. I am so disappointed in Dr. Simon. I understand that she may have needed to close the practice for personal reasons, but the entire process should have been handled better. She paid no concern to those of us who are left without medication and without a doctor to receive much needed care.
I've been a patient of Dr Simons for the past few years until 3 months ago. She started seeing me only on Saturday and was becoming more unreliable . Today I went in for my monthly appointment and was told she was gone as of last Saturday . I'm on a medicine that she talked me into and that a lot of Drs don't prescribe. She knew I was leaving for Europe to be with my sister for a month in May, and now I may not be able to go. Thanks for nothing Dr Simon. Gotta find a new doc in 2 days??
I rate the doctor a 5 but other problems a 0----Dr. Simon is a kind, caring and very knowledgeable doctor. She is able to listen to you and then explain a possible course of action. Recently, you can't get an appointment (she only comes in once a month? And the staff tries to get you to see a nurse) and the staff promises to send you records and doesn't follow through although your request is dated and in writing.
Dr. Simone was one of the only doctors who worked with patients who have muscle/spine issues. She really helped me when I visited her last year. However, this year she has some personal issues that took her away from the practice. That is where the problems are now. She has brought on several doctors and PAs to help her but they do not have her knowledge and compassion. As noted in some of the reviews the office staff seems somewhat un organized and the wait times are well over an hour. Hope she can get back on track and begin taking patients regularly.
After having a quite painful surgery, I had a hard time finding a local Dr., since I had recently moved to this area. Dr Simon was very understanding of my sort of embarrassing situation. She was not judgemental and I didn't feel rushed. She actually listens, instead of interrupting with her opinions or advise. I usually speak so fast at medical appts,to try to get all of my info out. She listened, then we discussed a plan. I have not felt this much relief since my surgery. Staff sweet 2! Thanks
Dr. Simon has been my Doctor for close to 10 years and I have had numerous surgeries and she has come to the hospital many times to see me. I trust her and I believe she is a very caring and good Doctor. She also has a very good bedside manner.
There isn't any information that accurately shows she's a pain management doctor; she's only board certified as a Rehabilitation Doctor. why does she claim to be?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
