I am a 75 year old woman who was in intensive pain. Because I looked and acted fine my primary care physician refused to believe me. Although I knew nothing about Physiatry except what I'd heard, I thought it was a good idea to make an appointment. The luck of the draw sent me to Dr. Jerry Lin. From the moment I met Dr. Lin he wanted to know about my pain - everything about my pain. He's never rushed me when I'm trying to describe something and he's never made me feel dumb - even when he has to explain something to me more than once. Dr. Lin is extremely professional but at the same time you can feel his compassion through his kindness and interest in wanting to help you. You know the paper you fill out telling the Doctor about your pain level, symptoms, etc? Well, Dr. Lin actually reads them! He saw something that I had written, we spoke briefly, he sent me to the hospital and I was operated on the next morning! Would I recommend Dr. Lin? Without a doubt, he's wonderful.

Dr. Lin is one of a kind. He is compassionate, patient, helpful, personable and kind. My life was full of physical pain from morning until night. Dr. Lin helped me reach a level where I can manage my pain and live a normal life. He holds a very special place in my heart forever.

After months of suffering from low back pain and with no definitive findings from other doctors, I was referred to Dr. Lin. He successfully found a disc tear at my L5-S1 spine. With treatment, and over time, the pain has become manageable and often, not present. He also treated my mid-thoracic for chronic scapula pain with success. Being retired, I know that age brings on problems, but at least I can function rather normally without pain interfering with my lifestyle. I highly recommend Dr. Lin. He listens to me and explains in detail the procedures involved.

Dr. Lin listens, he pays attention, he remembers prior personal conversations, he wants to get to the root of the problem…..he has been a pivotal part of my journey; I would highly recommend him, and the staff……fantastic.
