Dr. Hall has been my primary doctor twice over the course of the past 16 years. (I moved north for a period of years in between) He is funny, smart, compassionate and understanding at all times and has provided a professional level of care unlike any other providers in the Augusta area. Dr. Hall just gets it.

I'm an allied health professional and was happy with the care I received from Dr. Hall until UMaine changed insurance companies to Cigna on 1/1/12 and Dr. Hall decided not to accept the Cigna plan.

I was a patient with Dr. Hall for nearly 10 years. As a State of Maine employee, my insurance provider changed to Aetna. I had no choice in the matter. When I went to see Dr. Hall for a routine visit, I was turned away and dropped as a patient because he does not accept Aetna. 'Too much paperwork. But if I decide to accept them in the future, you can come back.' That is what he said. Leaving me with no physician, I had to scramble to find one so that my daily prescriptions would continue without a break. Not many doctor's in the Augusta area are taking new patients. I was told it would be at least 2 months. I think this is wrong. I don't think a doctor should be able to drop you like that. I am very disappointed with Dr. Hall after years of taking care of me, I realized I was just a paycheck to him. Very sad.
