Dr. Desantis is a highly skilled clinician with a clear growth mindset. She preformed surgery on me immediately after our appointment due to an ectopic pregnancy. Her calm and expertise shun in this situation. She was not only able to perform the surgery expertly; she also had the forethought to insert dye to capture images for me to have for further diagnosis. I truly think practicing medicine is a calling for her and she thinks beyond the current situation to help her patients find answers. I cannot reccomend her enough.

I rarely write bad reviews, but PLEASE HEED WARNING of this office and the way they operate as a business. - should of read the other reviews more closely, as they are accurate! (check out google/yelp as other patients all have similar issues) I went in for my annual exam, an appointment that should be 100% covered. Dr. Angela DeSantis was the doctor who did the exam, everything at the time appeared smooth, and routine. THEN two months later I get a call from my insurance company that I owe $700 for an out of network fee, and I was very confused given I chose a doctor specifically from the insurance network of my provider. Turns out, like the other reviews you will read, this office will send routine tests to an "out of network" lab and NOT EVEN MENTION IT IN THE APPOINTMENT. Who in their right mind would knowingly be okay with paying $700 for routine tests? I could go to Planned Parenthood for that. On top of that, when I tried calling the office, I left several messages-- I NEVER received a call back, email, NOTHING. I strongly encourage you to NOT see Dr. Angela DeSantis, or any other doctor at this office... the last thing you want your OBGYN to be is misleading.

I liked Dr. DeSantis, but when I was unable to make it to appointments I never scheduled, they fired me. So if you know you will be able to make it to every appointment, I say go for it. If not, find an office that is more understanding.
