The staff was kind, but the procedure was not effective. My top priority was to increase density in my thinning temples and then use any remaining grafts to lower/thicken my hairline. They did the exact opposite of what I asked for - focused the hair grafts where they thought would be best (hairline), instead of where I asked them to (temples). This resulted in minimum grafts being placed in my temples, so 2 years after the procedure I still have the same problem I walked into their offices with - thinning temples. I’ve had 2 consultations with other doctors that have confirmed this - as I also have small but noticeable white bumps at my scalp where each graft was placed; Noticeable to where every hair stylist since the procedure has asked me if I had a bad reaction to a hair product (it looks like a slight rash). So embarrassing. I’m now having to pay for a second procedure (by another dr).

Being a young 30 year old and losing my crown, I wanted a solution quick! I was recommended to speak with McGrath from a Dr in Houston. As I was in the Austin area. I spoke with Steve who was amazing and so knowledgeable, his passion for what he does comes across. No hard sales complete honesty he even turnt me away from a hair transplant due to the fact he could see my crown was worth saving. If you research ht he is one of the best, literally a veteran in this community and his results speak for themselves. I had hair transplant surgery about 7 months ago and couldn’t be happier about the results so far! Steve Cook was so helpful about all the questions I had pre operation. He truly cares about his patients! Dr. McGrath is the best doctor in Texas. His team was very polite and professional. The surgery was a painless procedure and I even caught myself falling asleep during the surgery. The team was super helpful post op and called to check up on me. My twin brother had the same surgery done about 6 years ago with Dr.McGrath.I will definitely be going to McGrath Medical if I ever need a second surgery . Best decision I ever made.
