My son broke his hand twice this year. The second time Dr. Allen had to surgically repair it. Dr. Allen has been amazing and very thorough. Dr. Allen and his entire staff have treated us wonderfully! Would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a good orthopedic!

I don’t even know where to begin with Dr. Allen. Obviously no one knows when they’re going to get hurt, that’s why they’re called accidents. After a very bad horseback riding accident, I had to be rushed to Batesville hospital. I knew I had a broke ankle, what I didn’t know was how bad. I snapped every bone above the ankle joint, dislocated it, and had my bone sticking out of my leg. Dr. Allen was the Orthopedic surgeon who was called into the ER that night. Upon his arrival, he immediately spoke calmly to me, made a few jokes to make me laugh, and overall gave me the sense that I was going to be ok even though my foot was literally hanging on by skin. I had to spend a week total in the hospital and every morning you could hear Dr. Allen walking the hall going into each of his patients rooms personally checking on them. You definitely get a personal experience with him and don’t just feel like you’re just another paycheck. He always gave you the opportunity to ask any questions needed and gave you and updated plan a day ahead of time letting you know what he was going to do. In total I had to have 3 surgeries on my ankle and will continue seeing him throughout my recovery.

Dr. Allen is the absolute BEST in my book!! This super talented orthopedist goes way past “above and beyond” for his patients. I incurred terrible knee issues cleaning after an accidental discharge of water & no restoration companies were available. When I went to Dr. Allen in 2016, he was thorough, caring & knowledgeable. I also told him about a branding pain underneath my shoulder blade I had after a 2007 cervical surgery in Jonesboro. Five physicians could not diagnose the issue. He knew exactly what it was, gave me injections and within 24 hours the debilitating pain of 9 years was GONE!! He gave me my life back! Words can’t express how much I respect & revere this man. My injury led to a total knee replacement he performed. I was allergic to hypoallergenic glue used in incision. This would have happened no matter who the surgeon was! Dr. Allen’s expertise made this complication bearable & he gave excellent post op care. I praise GOD for Dr.Allen! He’s my go to guy!
