List of Ronald Bates's Reviews
Caring staff loving environment listens to the patient concerns and needs
I don't ever write bad reviews as I believe that there are some days that are worse than others, and that an establishment shouldn't be judged based off one bad encounter. Historically, I've always revisited places and the experiences were able to right the wrongs. However, my experience here has been rather appalling. 90% of the staff I've encountered on numerous occasions were rude, careless, and just outright apathetic. 1. On several occasions I've called to request for further clarification on a procedure I needed done, they responded in such a condescending manner that I just was just stunned to receive such treatment over the phone. 2. The physician himself was unwelcoming and did not seem to care much about my concerns as a patient, and when I would request for further clarification on a procedure, he too responded in a condescending manner. 3. The final straw was when I was physically present to pick up my medical chart and associated immigration files. Unbeknownst to me, I was given the wrong chart to sign but I signed it without thoroughly checking the given chart as I had such disdain for the establishment that I wanted to leave as soon as I could. Yes, I accept responsibility on not thoroughly checking but I had trusted them to at least give me MY chart. When I approached them for a correction, they were unhappy and did not take responsibility for properly verifying my identity hence me ending up with the wrong chart. For a few minutes I had full access to this person's medical history and private information due to the negligence and unprofessionalism and yet they had the audacity to blame me for failing to verify my identity when they only referred to me as "sir". Would you have felt violated if this was your chart I had in hand? This act of negligence was a HIPAA violation and should be held accountable for. I myself have been a medical practitioner for years and I can empathize that the realm of Healthcare is often stressful, hectic, and unrelenting at times. However, none of the behaviors exhibited were warranted, nor could it be justified. 0/5 if I could. Note: I would haved LOVED to explore other avenues had I the option to. Unfortunately, he was the only assigned U.S. civil surgeon within a 100 mile radius.
Dr. Bates, takes time, does a thorough history and listens! His staff are absolutely precious! I won't go to any other doctor, in Batesville!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
