He may have been a good doctor at one point; you can see glimpses of that. All I can say is that of the 4 times I saw him in 2022, he only paid attention and listened to my concerns the first time. After that, he discounted anything I said because it didn't mesh with his initial diagnosis. When I told him a medication he prescribed wasn't working, he literally said to me, "and what do you want me to do?" That was in the last visit, and the next day I made an appointment to see a different physician.

When I go to the doctor, I want to be ignored and talked down to, so Dr. Estes is the guy for me. It's reassuring to have a physician who is so completely confident to the point of arrogance. I like when a doctor barely listens, tells me the pain I'm feeling isn't real, and can't get out the door fast enough. I also love having to repeat myself multiple times in the same visit to remind him of a drug ...

Because his nurse was condescending and rude. I think that reflects on the doctor as well because he is ok with that going on.

Dr Estes obviously hates his job. I found him to be dismissive and uninterested in me or my health concern. He has the worst bedside manner of any physician I have ever consulted.

If you need a caring medical professional,who listens rather this guy casting judgements go to northwest physicians.wish I knew about 5 yrs.ago instead of frustrating dr.estes If you are 65 or over northwest is the place to be seen Walk ins every day from 7-9,then schedules apts from 9 to 6..I am so thankful I made the change. Estes needs to retire

Non attentive.too quick to mention what he won't do. Prescribe's paxil( anti depresssant) for pain---ridiculous!!!

After dealing with dr.estes I moved on..had to argue over his lack of treating my chronic pain...over 70 yes old and he is nothing but rude..don't waste time with him

Went to him 2-3 times. His bedside manner was cold. He never looked up from his laptop. Visits felt rushed. On my 2nd visit I expressed my concerns about his uncaring attitude to his nurse and she said she'd talk with him. By my 3rd visit I was so infuriated with him that my blood pressure was high so he prescribed bp meds which I never filled the rx. Happy to say I've found a new primary physician at Northwest (and my blood pressure is well within the normal range).
