I called about having something called in that i have always gotten filled on medicais and they were very rude and told me it wasnt covered when yes it is....The lady said maam you can buy that for 15 dollars at walmart ,ok but is she gonna pay yhr 15 $ dont think so....very rude and snooty...on the other hand Dr.Porter is anazing and very pleasant...

A most friendly man that actually listens and makes you feel comfortable

He is a good surgeonOther than he will not give you strong enough pain medicine for the pain you experienced after his procedure

First if all, I want to thank my Lord and savior Jesus for sending Dr. Porter our way. He’s performed 2 major surgeries on me and just yesterday he helped saved my daughter’s life, when 5 doctors at Baptist could not figure out what was wrong with her. She literally could have died if left untreated but he operated on her and now she’s on her way to recovery. We are forever grateful for Dr. Porter, words can not describe our gratitude. I love Dr.Porter, I wish he could be my Doctor for all my needs. He has fantastic bedside manner, he listens and answers your questions. He's respectful of your feelings and has a sense of humor. He or his staff checks in on you and make me feel like family every time they see me..

Dr. Porter and his entire staff are outstanding. Dr. Porter is very personable, an outstanding surgeon that extremely good care of his patients. His staff if friendly, caring and I would also give them my highest rating in every category. In my opinion you simply cannot go wrong with him and I most definitely give him my highest recommendation!

Dr Porter gives excellent care to his patients. He takes time to listen and doesn’t make you feel rushed. I brought a list of things I wanted to ask him & he was more than happy to answer every question. I feel very blessed to have him as my surgeon.

I love Doctor Porter He took very good care of my parents. He makes my daddy smile all the time he sees him. I was not very happy about his receptionist.

I haven’t even been in for my appointment yet but the receptionist I spoke with was terrible. I had been on vacation for a week and didn’t have any cell signal, and when I got home and called back, she said “Well, FIRST of all, we tried to contact you like 8 times (I only had 2 missed calls from them), so what is your phone number?” She also kept cutting me off as I was answering questions she asked me. I am praying for a better experience once I go to my appointment, but honestly I think I’ll ask my doctor to refer me somewhere else. Medical conditions can already be stressful without having to deal with rude, abrasive front offices. I’ve been down that road before and the outcome is never pleasant.

Dr. Porter is the best! He has treated our family for stomach issues for years. We love the man, and feel lucky to have his expertise and experience in our lives!
