List of Amy Fry's Reviews
Dr Fry is both professional and personable. A fantastic combination in a physician.
I had the best experience under the care of Dr. Fry and her team. Due to time sensitive health reasons and a breech baby, I ended up having a c section. My anxiety before and during the procedure was never dismissed and I felt safe in their hands. Recovery was a breeze (for a major surgery) and they provide all the postpartum essentials. I can’t say enough. They are top notch.
The staff and doctor are all so friendly and caring it was a pleasure to come
PLEASE READ THIS IF YOU ARE ON THE FENCE ABOUT GOING TO THIS OFFICE!! I could scream from the rooftops about this office and Dr. Fry. They are absolutely AMAZING!! Everyone from the front desk, Ultrasound techs, nurses, and of course Dr. Fry. I have a long medical history and have seen multiple drs in multiple states and specialties. Dr. Fry is one of, if not the best Dr I have ever experienced. She is so clear and knowledgeable about what is needed or not needed to achieve a healthy life and pregnancy. I have had bad experiences with OB/GYNs in the local mercy health system and at willow creek women’s hospital. I took the jump to try Dr.Fry’s office when I realized I was pregnant and I’m beyond grateful I did. She is upfront but gentle about what she says which is amazing!! She has gone above and beyond for me starting since day one. I have a serious health condition and have been told by many drs that they “tried” to get me referrals but I never received a call or appointment. I was waitlisted but never contacted again no matter how many times I called. After trying for 2.5-3 years I just gave up on the area and started traveling to NY to see a specialist. When I expressed frustration about not having a local Dr in that field of “issues” I have, she told me she would look into it. Within one week I had received a call and an appointment for an office! I was literally crying because no Dr locally had taken the time even when I begged for help or has pushed for me like she has. She truly cares for each patient and will do whatever she can to help you. I had a traumatic miscarriage last year during my first pregnancy while attending another office and so I came into this office very nervous and anxious. Everyone has been so inviting, gentle and caring. This pregnancy I’ve been SO sick, I’ve had to run to the office bathroom multiple times and every staff member that knew or heard me throwing up would ask if I was okay or if I needed anything. They are so sincere and genuine I love it. Dr.fry is upfront but gentle with what is said which is amazing. She is clear about what is needed or not needed no matter how silly my questions or concerns may be. She is very professional but is also so personable and shows that she is there for you. My husband and I feel so confident and grateful to have my health and our baby’s health in her hands. I’ve never looked forward to appointments due to my long medical history, but I look forward to every appointment with Dr.Fry!!! The wait can be very quick sometimes or if can be longer but that just shows how much she cares for everyone. She takes the time needed for each patient and does not rush you no matter what. I am so happy I chose this office and knowing what I know now, I would come here without skipping a beat!! I know healthcare hasn’t been easy especially since all the covid chaos but thank you so much Dr. Fry and thank you so much to your staff. Y’all are amazing and I can’t express enough how grateful we are to have found you!!! THANK YOU💕
I would recommend Dr. Fry she is caring, listen , helpful, she answer all my questions and concerns. The staff is so nice and sweet. Love this place.
I really felt my concerns were heard by Dr. Fry and the rest of the staff. I had a bad experience with a previous doctor and I am so glad I found this practice.
amy fry is hands down the best OB in the world in my opinion. every appointment she makes sure to spend as much time needed with you. i admire her confidence and honesty with every question asked. she’s an incredible surgeon. she’s done my c-section plus removed my left tube that had a cyst the size of a softball in it (can’t even see a scar) and she just recently did a laparoscopic surgery due to a mass on my right ovary that we thought I may lose and would never be able to have kids again on my own… yet she was able to save my ovary after all! she truly cares about her patients and is someone I feel so comfortable with not only with my life but being able to connect with her on more personal levels. i can’t brag enough on her or her medical staff at Northwest Bentonville during each of my surgeries, they make you feel like you’re apart of their family and I haven’t had a single negative experience at that hospital or with the staff. Amy thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, you truly are the best!!!
IF YOU ARE DECIDING WHETHER OR NOT TO GO TO DR. FRY PLEASE READ THIS FIRST. I am posting my experience because I do not want anyone to go through what I went through as a young woman with infertility issues. I have had an irregular period for years now and when I moved to NWA I was referred to Dr. Fry. My first visit went just fine and she was able to offer some help for the anxiety I was experiencing from my job and offer advise of ovulation tracking to help my husband and I conceive since we had trouble for years since getting married. She also recommended better nutrition and exercise to help get my body healthier for pregnancy. I started being more active and hired a dietician to help me lose the weight and prepare for pregnancy. A couple months back I scheduled an appointment to get a check up as I had an irregular period length of 82 days and I was very concerned. At this point I had already lost 10 lbs in two months on a new diet plan recommended by my dietician as I was struggling to lose the weight. I went in to this check up and was weighed and blood pressure taken (standard procedure to check up). After waiting for some time Dr. Fry came in. She said that my weight had increased and that my blood pressure was bad. I have NEVER had blood pressure issues and I know for a fact I had lost weight because I weighed in that morning. She asked what I was doing to lose the weight and I told her I was using a dietician and exercising more. Her response was "let me guess, she is some skinny girl that has no idea what its like to be overweight." I responded kindly that my dietician had been very helpful in helping me make lifestyle changes. She proceeded to say that it had been a year since I had seen her and that I had made no progress. She told me that I needed to be committed to losing the weight in order to work out my fertility issues. She did not ask about my progress so how would she know I wasn't committed? I have been eating 1400 calories a day and exercising so clearly that is not the issue.... She then proceeded to recommend working out, even to the point of passing out which I obviously know is not a good idea. She threw out that she unofficially diagnosed me with PCOS. She did not run any blood tests to confirm this. She tried to get me onto diabetic medication to help me lose the weight but insurance would not cover it (that is not her fault). I left here feeling very humiliated, upset, and with more questions that I came in with. She never once addressed my period irregularity. This entire visit was based around my weight. I only recently gained weight, and I have had an irregular period for YEARS back when I was in college weighing 150 lbs. I will not be going back, and pray that the next doctor I visit takes me seriously and is more positive in their approach. It is not easy have fertility issues that make you want to cry everyday, and then having a PROFESSIONAL tell you you aren't working hard enough and that your weight is the reason you are struggling with fertility was just the icing on the freaking cake (which I am not eating, not one bite). Since this visit I have taken matters into my own hands and done TONS of research into what I need to do to help regulate my period. I hope my new OBGYN can offer me an actual answer.
Dr. Fry is absolutely wonderful! From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease. The office is beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Fry really listens and doesn’t rush the appointments. She is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explains new information and answers every question. Her professionalism and kind demeanor make you feel very comfortable.I highly recommend!
I cannot sing the praises of Dr. Fry and the staff at Northwest Women’s Clinic enough. We recently moved to the area and I was so nervous about changing OBGYN’s. Dr. Fry and her staff have exceeded my expectations in every way. They are personal, down to earth, patient and kind to their patients, and amazing healthcare providers. Every person in the office is pleasant and helpful. The staff care about baby, but they also care about you as mom. They have gone above and beyond to provide me with the best medical care I have ever received.
