In the past I've had at least 5 major surgeries , I was younger and stronger and bounced back quickly . The last 2 were after 40s , and I had a terrible experience that caused me to feel traumatized, creating fear. I talked to Dr Rogers about this and he reassured me that would not happen . And he was right. I woke up from surgery not writhing in agony , not scared , not feeling worked over. I actually felt cared for and treated gently. The attending nurse listened when I was coming out of anesthesia in recovery . She didn't scoff , she didn't say I was overreacting , she asked questions and made me feel comfortable. Dr Rogers is by far the best surgical experience of my life. In 1 day I walked out of the hospital and not in tears , in 3 days I walked my dog with a family member there to help me. My body is recovering extremely well , with no extra trauma . Thank you Dr Rogers and your care team , I truly feel cared for.
