Dr. Flake removed a cyst I had back in 1998, and he was very accommodating and caring. The first doctor I went to wanted to remove it at 3:00 PM, using general anesthesia after fasting from dinner the night before, and I I wasn't willing to do either of those things. He said he could do it first thing in the morning, and he had no issues with using a local anesthetic. We talked throughout the procedure and, since he was a red-head and I was one too, I told him I was dreading the possible years of itching this scar would cause (from past experience). He told me about some of the cons of having red hair and the skin conditions that come with it. I found him to be enjoyable and very skilled, and the procedure was a pleasant experience. The scar caused almost no issues. I would recommend Dr. Flake to anyone in the SW MO / NW AR area who needed surgery. This was the best surgical experience I've ever had.
