Yes I think he is a great doctor.
Don't go to this doctor. I used him when my son was an infant and they don't measure the children's weight, length, or head size when they come. Even for physicals as he got older he did not examine my child AT ALL, he just looked at him said a couple words and marked him as fine (he didn't check eyes, ears, throat, temperature, blood pressure, NOTHING). My last straw was when I brought my sick child in and he wrote it off as a cold, I took my child to another doctor the next day and my son was subsequently hospitalized due to the nature of his illness that was written off by Boakye. In my opinion he is in the profession simply for the money.
He is always out of the office. Can't get appointments when needed if is isn't here. Have to take your child to whoever is filling in for him. When he is there you are very rushed through the visit. And he seems to only hear what he wants and not everything that you tell him. He's friendly and good with kids, too bad he's to busy to be an excellent doctor. As of now I say he is fair. Wish he would slow down just a little and not treat patients as money only.
He is more concerned about making $ than treating kids. He sees as many kids daily as possible. They get any meds the parents want appropriate or not. Instead of fixing the problem he covers it up with meds they want. He doesn't give refills for meds in chronic conditions. Families have to come back monthly which makes him more $. He doesn't listen to parents concerns & does what is easiest for him. ADHD meds can be dangerous. He does not eval kids by any standard & has no method for using them.
Our daughter was running a 101 fever the night before. We took her to see Dr. AsafoBoakye and with out running any tests at all he prescribes her antibiotics off the cuff. Needless to say we will not be going back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
