I called to make an appointment, and the receptionist was very rude to me. She acted like I was idiot for trying to make a new patient appointment and told me I couldn’t get in until 2022. Clearly he is a good doctor, however I will not be calling back after that interaction.

Dr. Mayfield has the best bed side manner! He cares about his patients and easy to talk to! He has been our family doctor for years and will continue to be.

Dr. Mayfield and his staff are professional, knowledgeable, and kind. He doesn't just throw antibiotics at you if you don't need them, but also doesn't dismiss you if the symptoms don't fit neatly within a specific illness box. I have complete confidence in him and his team!

I would not go to anyone else. Dr. Mayfield has been my PCP for over 20 years. He listens, shows compassion and is very thorough. I've only had the best treatment since coming to him. Very much recommend.

Dr. Mayfield is a great doctor. He tells you like it is. He is compassionate an caring. Most of the time, he can get to the root of your problem. If he can't figure out your problem then he will send you to someone who specializes in the field he thinks you need to be seen by. Really good person and Doctor. He takes the time to listen to your concerns. I have been a patient of his for many years and have never wanted to to go any where else. My family and extended family uses him.

I've been seeing Mayfield since he first started in Dr. Ralph Izard's clinic in the 80s. I refuse to see anyone else! His professionalism, compassion, and dedication are BEYOND reproach. I TRUST him and know I will get the best care available under his direction. He ensures explaining EVERYTHING & educating each one of his patients. He treats his patients like human beings and not just a number. In his eyes, you are HIS patient!

I refer to Dr Mayfield as "My Doctor". Dr Mayfield listens and hears what you are saying to him. He catches things you say to him, you may not think is even important. He is a very inteligent, concerned Doctor. You can tell his passion is to help you get to a better place in life. There are not enough words to say how to describe how great, yet humble he is. I highly respect him and thankful I started seeing him in 1999. He has seen me through the main disease I have, the little colds and the big illness and has even supported me and saw me through cancer. I think he deserves more than 4 stars...He's MY DOCTOR...
