Dr Nelson has been our family dr from 25yrs& some more . He’s been extra good to our family. He make us feel at home . He do everything to make us happy . We love him . He is a life saver.He is very intelligent he knows what he is doing.He Is very kind. He listen to our medical and personal problems. He is very Patient.half of my sickness goes away as soon I enter his office knowing I am in good hands that everything will be taken care.

Dr. Nelson always listens and makes a diagnosis based on the problems I tell him about. He addresses every aspect of my complaints, and always has a friendly, outgoing attitude that puts you at ease when you're there. Hos staff is awesome as well!

I have been going to Dr Nelson since I moved here from Texas 12yrs ago. If you're looking for a really good PCP Dr I highly recommend him. Excellent bedside manners and he really cares for his patient.

I'm a RN with a BSN and Dr. Nelson is the best PCP I've ever had. He takes time to listen and address any and all of my concerns. He is well knowledgeable, uses recent practice methods, and is up on recent research. He takes time to follow up with me and has taken extra measures to confirm or deny any possible diagnosis I'm concerned about. He is very personable and kind and I highly recommend him.

I enjoy going to see Dr. Nelson. He automatically makes me feel comfortable and gives great advice on my health issues. However, the nurse responsible for doing the prior authorization (PA) for prescriptions is HORRIBLE! Once the pharmacy told me I needed a PA I immediately called back to the doctor's office Wrong 10am so they could make the phone call to my insurance company so I could pickup my meds. They said they would put it right in. I called back around 2pm to let them know that I would be out of town the next week so if they could call in my PA I would greatly appreciate it. The nurse told the receptionist to tell me it would be Monday before she called in my PA. Monday I didn't hear anything. So on Tuesday I called my insurance company who informs me that they haven't received anything from my doctor. The nurse didn't call in my PA until Wednesday afternoon! My prescription can't be transferred to another pharmacy, so I've had to do without my prescription for a week all because my doctors nurse wouldn't simply pickup the phone to confirm my PA to my insurance company. The alternative would have been for me to pay over $250 versus the $15 with my insurance. I LOVE Dr. Nelso but will look for another physician with a more considerate and responsive nurse staff.
