It's been a long time since we had such cordial office help and a willingness to help the patients. We had our first visit with Dr. Beard and his staff and we were exceptionally pleased with them. Dr. Bear was very thorough. Thanks to both Dr. Beard and the receptionist and nurse.

Dr Beard is the best internal medicine physician I've ever seen. Coming from a family of physicians and nurses I know when excellent care is being processed. As long as I am alive I will always be seen by and trust Dr Beard and his staff.

I’ve been seeing this doctor for several years and in my time of great need he has left me hanging and in a terrible situation. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I once liked him and believed he was listening to me. I should known back in August when I called and asked for a topical for pain on an abscess and his nurse called me back with a lidocaine prescription and informed me that Dr. Beard said to tell me there isn’t much he can do. I lost hope that day. I went to a dermatologist a few weeks later for that same abscess. Turns out there was so much more that could be done. He’s a terrible human being in my opinion. He allowed me to suffer because he had no idea how to treat hidradentitis suppurativa but sure told me he was confident he could treat it. He hasn’t really helped with anything to be completely honest.

Dr. Beard is now with Baptist Family Clinic and I’m so glad I followed him. He is hands down the best family doctor. He listens and will always take the time like you are the only patient he’s seeing that day. Some of the reviews on other sites are unjust as you can tell they are pill shoppers or trying to get pain scripts over the phone without coming in. No good doc would ever risk their license to practice for those types of patients. If you want a good PCP that cares, listens and will do everything in their power to get you feeling better go to Dr. Beard!

Outstanding doctor with a nurse practitioner (Leslie) that I have used for the last 10+ years. Very informative and always helpful when I call. I certainly recommend Dr. Beard and Leslie for a PCP.

I called to schedule a new patient appointment and the receptionist Bonnie was very rude. She told me even before asking what I needed to come in for that it would be mid til end of January until the doctor could see me. Then once I said ok that would be fine she said oh well you had an appointment made in 2017 that you didn’t show up for so I cant schedule you anyway. I said for one missed appointment ?? She said yes we can not see you . Wow
