I had been going to this doctor since he brought out one of the greatest doctors around. Well for starters I had an appointment today 6/17/22 from last year and I don't remember them charging for credit card use but this time it was a five dollar charge. Next in order to get a prescription for your eyes glasses there is a $75 dollar charge. So I left never to come back and got home and called back for my medical records and was told the price for First Page is $22.88 and $.76 for each additional page. With this kind of service coming from a doctor I am so glad to move on. Buyer be ware. Staff was professional and only doing what they are told to do. This is very unethical coming from a doctor/office. I would have given a zero if allowed.
Had a great experience here, simple exam but everyone was friendly right from the start at the receptionist to the tech to the doctor to the checkout. I love how clean and professional looking the office is, they definitely take pride in their work here!
Excellent experience. Good “bedside manner” and put my son at ease prior to surgery. Definitely recommend!
He was arrogant and did not listen to my concerns. Worst Dr. I ever dealt with.
The doctor was nice enough, but the administrative part of the office is lacking. They don’t even accept credit anymore so you have to seek reimbursement from your HSA/flex spending on your own. Then, I got a bill for my services and it showed I made a $20 in office payment...but I paid $70! When I took my bank statement there do you have it corrected she told me that in the computer it says I made a $70 payment and that it was correct. Sounded sketchy to me but what ever. Also on the same bill was $140 for my visit and I advised the front desk lady that I called my insurance and BCBS said to resubmit for payment. Well they “left a sticky note for the billing lady that was out”. A month goes by and I get a collection agency letter for $140!!!! Im pretty positive that they never even tried to resubmit it. Never once did they call me!! The first year we went there we didn’t have a problem, after this second go-round we switched back to our Annapolis eye associates and are very pleased. Well worth the drive to Annapolis to have good customer service and someone that’s experienced with billing.
I would pick zero stars but it doesn't let me. Not only does this office charge you extra for paying a copay with a debit card but now they've sent me to a collections agency for a whopping 60 bucks for which I have NEVER received a bill. This is absurd. At no point did they attemp to contact me or rectify this situation of which I was in unaware. What crooks!
This office is terrible!!!!! First of all they are very fraudulent. They charge a fee to use your credit card, or even your flexible spending account. Furthermore, we called in advance to make sure the appointment would be covered by insurance, they said it would. I got a bill for 240.00. The billing lady said "they usually tell you if there is a fee." On top of that, we had to wait HOURS for our scheduled appointment!!! Never complained about an MD office before. All around it was a bad experience. Even the office staff were rude.
I made an appointment for my son for an eye exam. I was told they accepted both my primary and secondary insurance. Carefirst and medical assistance through the state. I am a single mom of 3 kids. Every dollar counts. They saw my son and never billed either insurance. Continued to bill me the 200 despite me explaining they should bill my insurance. They have no put in on my credit report. I never would have gone there if I knew they would not bill the insurance. So frustrated and disappointed with this office.
This visit was the worst experience. First of all, they charge a fee to use your flexible spending account or a credit card. Next, the wait was HOURS for a scheduled appointment. Office staff are extremely rude. To top it off, they never told me about a $240.00 fee, even though my husband called before the appointment to make sure it would be covered by insurance. I would not go here ever again!
My family & I have been patients of this practice for over 10 years. The doctor is good in what he does but has new business practices (charging $5) to use a credit card. NO doctor has ever charged me to use my debit or credit card. I asked if I could bring back a cash or check payment and the doctor himself told me “NO!” I’ve spent well over a thousand dollars if not more over the course of 10 years. Lost 2 patients from the same household. Doctors don’t care when they have many more.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
