List of Debra Lawrence's Reviews
Dr. Lawrence is amaze! She listens to what you have to say! Very compassionate, towards her patients! My delivery went amazing, and my tubal removal went great! It you need a caring compassionate Doctor, she is the one!
Dr Lawrence is kind and compassionate! I would highly recommend her and her staff. She was my guardian angel through the worst month of my life. She spoke to me like a person not a number. She made me feel like I was in good hands before surgery. She is a great doctor!!!
If you want the best and are under and risks go with her. I had multiple risks going in to this pregnancy I needed up with high blood pressure and gestational diabetes. We ended up having him at 37 weeks due to high blood pressure. Dr Lawrence went above and beyond to help me. She was excellent is she fast like the reviews say? Yes but there was never a point I was not able to get an apt even when she was seeing me twice a week, so I’m sure that’s a big part of that. she knows her stuff and listened to everything I was concerned about and when it came time to deliver I can’t say enough good things. I’m done having kids but she will be my on forever. My pregnancy was a complicated one and I’m very thankful for her and her nurse Kristen.
I became a patient of Dr. Lawrence at the end of last year and had my baby in July of this year. Pregnancy is challenging and I struggled with various things during the pregnancy. At times I definitely felt like she was short with me and lacked compassion. However, I did feel like she was providing me and my baby good care and was proactive with things. But, I had a very rough time having my baby. Dr. Lawrence suggested an induction and since it had been a rough go and I was exhausted I was for it. I wish I would have known then what I know now. I ended up being in the hospital 5 nights. My doctor made comments when she'd come to check in making me feel like an inconvenience and that it wasn't working with her schedule at all. She let me know that she didn't want to deliver at night and wasn't on call. I would always apologize even though I was miserable and getting checked every 2 hours for 3 nights in a row. I ended up getting an infection and that was scary. I was up all night long with shakes and had bleeding. Dr. Lawrence came in next morning saying that she didn't sleep well due to recieving updates on my condition. She then told me that my uterus was pitiful absolutely pitiful. I wanted to have a vaginal delivery but when the day came to push I tried for over 2 hours and she ended up calling it and I agreed because at that point I was crying and was so exhausted I didn't have much strength to push much longer. We ended up doing a c-section and I had to be unconscious. I'm still really struggling with that. Wanted to hear her first cry and have my husband with me and so on. I know things don't go as planned but I truly believe that if my doctor hadn't been as worried about her schedule it could have went much differently. I am still giving 2 stars because we have our baby with us and me and her are doing well. I just hope that this doesn't happen to others which is why I'm writing this review. She is extremely knowledgeable and has been doing this a long time. I just wish things would have been handled a bit differently but I am thankful that we are home and doing well.
I was completely dismissed and openly mocked by Dr. Lawrence because of my concerns. When receiving a second opinion from another gynecologist because my pain and symptoms only got worse, I was promptly diagnosed and treated for not 1, not 2, but 3 issues. I was then referred to specialist to treat a 4th condition once all of my tests came back. All those months of complaining about what was NOT normal for my body, only to be made to feel like an overdramatic woman. What upsets me most is that I doubted myself because of her obvious annoyance with my persistence. In Women's healthcare, especially where some women have a history of sexual trauma, and these types of visits are both frightening and triggering but extremely necessary, it disgusts me that women are still being treated this way. I did contact the office manager and was given an apology, but I still felt compelled to leave this review.
Since I’ve been pregnant. Dr. L has been the only doc I’ve been too & honestly she’s excellent! Love her! So sweet & tells it like it is & that’s what I like! She seems for sure about what she’s talking about! She looks good for her age by the way! When I clicked on this page I did not expect to see 51! Wow! I’d recommend for any woman! The staff is professional as well 5 stars & a thumbs up!????
Very caring and professional. Always on time with appointments.
I have used Dr. Lawrence for about 20 years. She has always treated me great. LIstening to concerns that I have and not just putting me on medication before trying other things. Her staff is always friendly and professional.
I understand some of the negative reviews, however, Dr. Lawrence has been the best OB/GYN I've ever had in my 25 years of going to one. She's been so vital in helping me finally start losing weight and regulating my hormones which other doctors have not been able to do. I hope you consider Dr. Lawrence as your OB/GYN.
She is very unprofessional and too self absorbed with herself. She is only in it for the money. I would not recommend her to anyone.!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
