MIchael Stanton's Online Review Report Card

In March of 2023 my husband had a reversal done by Dr. Stanton. I loved that before the procedure, Dr. Stanton prayed with us. Here it is June of 2023 and i found out last month that we're having a baby! I feel like Dr. Stanton has given me my miracle baby. My husband had a vasectomy almost 6 years ago from the time of reversal. I feel like he is a miracle worker! So. Thankful.

Dr. Stanton is the best, combining modern innovation and technology with the badly needed "old compassionate care" that is critical with most patients. Willing to listen and fully understand every situation.

My mother saw two other surgeons who minimised her abdominal pain and symptoms before we found ourselves in the ER and were fortunately assigned to Dr. Stanton. He thoroughly assessed her before concluding that surgery was the only option. He was clear, kind, and professional in communicating the surgical options, potential risks, and even the uncertainties with our family. Dr. Stanton is a skilled surgeon who expertly conducted the procedure and consequently made a remarkable transformation in my mother’s health. In addition, it was obvious from the moment that we met him and throughout my mother’s recovery that Dr. Stanton genuinely cares about helping his patients.

Dr Stanton prayed with us before the reversal and allowed me to be in the room with my husband. He also allowed me to see the reconnection of one side under the microscope. That was 1 1/2 years ago and we havent gotten pregnant. But as he said in his prayer, we placed it back into God’s hands and want His will. Every month when I feel sad, I remember Dr Stanton’s prayer.

We cannot speak enough praise to Dr Stanton and his entire staff! Last year, my husband and I travelled from Seattle, WA to have his reversal performed and we felt so comfortable and knew we were in good hands! The reception staff gave us some info on places to eat or stop by and see. (well worth their suggestions) Almost exactly a year later, we just had our miracle baby boy! Happy and healthy! My husband had a reversal two years ago. First one didn’t take. We did it again a year later. We became pregnant 3 months after the second reversal. Our princess was just born 9 days ago! We couldn’t be more thankful and blessed! 🎀

Cannot say enough good about Dr. Conway and his whole office team. They made a very difficult surgery as pleasant and easy as possible. Great staff! And Dr Stanton is amazing. I would trust him with my life.

It is with much regret that I have to write this review, I was a patient of Dr. Stanton on September 11, 2020 for a vasectomy reversal. I flew into Arkansas from California for my procedure. Since the day of surgery, I never received a follow up call or text after surgery to see how I was progressing or healing. I didn't get a call to schedule a semen sample. I had to reach out to his office couple of times to get direction on when & how to give a sample. I ended up scheduling a sperm sample through my primary care physician in February 2021, which came back positive. After not being able to get pregnant for a year, and the fact that I was having pain in the area, I decided to get checked out and give another sample. It was negative. I then gave another sample and again, negative. I called Dr. Stanton's office multiple times, was promised a call back multiple times and it wasn't until 11 days later that I finally received a call back from you. And was advised that my reversal had scarred over. After lots of research and doctor interviews I decided to get another reversal with Dr. Hickman in New Brauffels on 10/1/2021. When he performed the surgery he was in shock by what he saw. He has never seen clips left in after a surgery, and it added to the likelihood of scar tissue forming which lead to not being able to conceive. Second, the method Dr. Stanton used in his procedure left me with much less vas than other methods, so now I can’t have another reversal if this fails. Third, he has never seen such a large diameter suture used to close such a small tube. He has only used one that large for repairing arteries, a much larger vessel. Lastly, he was in shock that Dr. Stanton did not explain to me the seriousness of this surgery, and the amount of down time that is needed after which also led to the scarring. I have now had to pay for a vasectomy reversal twice, along with hotels, flights, rental cars,etc. Not only that, but the pain I have had to endure again, the time away from my family twice & most importantly a year has passed. My wife is now 38 years old, and time is precious to us through this process. I asked Dr. Stanton to refund me the cost of the surgery, and he refused. I highly recommend you doing some serious research before choosing Dr. Stanton as your doctor for a vasectomy reversal, I regret my decision in doing so greatly

5 months after the reversal we are expecting!

Dr. Stanton and his staff are the Best and most awesome people by far!! We were extremely nervous and excited at the same time. Dr. Stanton made it more personal by sitting down with us, having an awesome heart to heart, making sure we were ready for this reversal. After our conversation he prayed for our family and for us to have a beautiful and healthy child resulting from this reversal. ❤!! He educated us step by step while performing the procedure, and even showed us the stitches he used. He is the BEST!! By far him and his staff are the best period!! We personally would like to give you the best rating by far, honestly 5 stars is not enough!! Thank you the Hayes Family!!
