Doesn’t come and tell you your results after procedures. I filled out six forms of my medical history. He didn’t read any of it and came it with a scratch piece of paper and hurried me to tell him my symptoms. Gave me an appointment a week later to tell me my results for 420 pm and called at 130 so I missed the appointment. Google him in Texas. He shouldn’t even be practicing medicine anywhere.

Doesn’t come out to family members to discuss surgery results; when asked about if this was happening at the hospital, I was told by staff yes, that they do usually come out but he doesn’t. Impersonal.

Dr Maat is thorough and compassionate. He explained procedures and answered all our questions and gave an accurate diagnosis. Since we live a distance from the hospital he made a call and arranged for us to see a surgeon the same day to save us a trip. To say the least, we were impressed with the care he gave!!

Dr. Maat as always been friendly, informative and compassionate. He was able to diagnosis my condition quickly and find the best option for treatment. I have had no further problems since he treated me.

I highly recommend looking at the medical malpractice against Owen Maat in another state before moving to Arkansas. Texas medical association has all his records public. He shouldn't even have a medical license approved for Arkansas.
