Had to have emergency surgery Dr Mccolgan was on call and performed surgery that night. It was major surgery to remove a blockage in my lower intestines . He did outstanding both before the surgery by putting my mind at ease and after surgery seeing that that I had the very best of care. He is a outstanding doctor and outstanding person.

Dr McColgan recently performed a thyroidectomy for me and he has given me a chance at being healthy for the first time in more than 20 years! Other surgeons, endocrinologists, etc have just kept changing my meds but didn't want to remove my thyroid because it was MASSIVE, very vascular, and I have autoimmune thyroiditis. All of these things make surgery risky. Thank you Dr McColgan for being awesome and being willing to free me. Ended up my thyroid was massive, around my esophogus, near/around my carotid, and was no easy surgery. I have healed very well thanks to his great surgical skills. He has a great personality, the whole staff are super kind, they have a sweet office dog, and I was treated with respect and care throughout the whole process. If anyone in my family needs surgery in the future, McColgan Surgical Center is who will be taking care of us. THANK YOU so much Dr. McColgan!

I can't imagine the situation where people said some of the things that they did...none of that correlates to my experience. He was thoughtful, listened well, and took great care of me before, during, and after my thyroidectomy. If anyone in my family needs a surgeon, Dr. McColgan will be who takes care of us. Dr McColgan is amazing! Staff is kind, courteous. He completed a thyroidectomy that was not an easy surgery and I've had no problems. He gave me my health back by willing to do this procedure. THANK YOU

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. McColgan to anyone seeking a surgeon. I am very pleased with every aspect of my surgery - the pre-surgery consults, the procedure itself, and the after-care. If I ever need surgery again, I will be consulting Dr. McColgan.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. McColgan. During my pre-surgical consults, he listened patiently to my concerns, answered all of my questions thoroughly, awhile showing respect for my concerns. He did not push surgery, but instead assisted me in my decision process. Dr. McColgan took amazing care of me during my surgery and the consequent hospital stay. I owe a debt of gratitude to him, as I can already tell that my health is going to be greatly improved due to the surgical procedure he completed. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone seeking a surgeon. If there is another surgery in my future, I will without doubt engage his services once more. His staff also deserves a high recommendation - each of them has been exceptionally professional, yet kind and compassionate. God bless Dr. McColgan and his staff.
