Dr. Coates has been our family physician for over ten years. We appreciate that he takes the time to listen, understand, and empathize.

Dr Coates is amazing .He is very Knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner .I am so happy to have him as my family Dr .I trust him with my life . He goes above and beyond to get to the bottom of any issues i have and his staff is just as awesome .they are so welcoming and friendly Its nice for a change you don't see this very often anymore . I would 100 % recommend them to anyone I meet .Thanks for always caring and thank you for always being so friendly it really helps to see such positive attitudes its really refreshing . He really is one of a kind .he really genuinely cares .

My husband and I have been with Dr. Coates from the time he relocated here in windsor from Thunder Bay. He is in his office Monday to Friday and he has Emergency Appts twice a week if needed. Of the numerous Health Issues that I have had over the years he has Never made me feel that any appointments were't important. He tries very hard to get you in to see a specialist as soon as possible. He takes the time to listen to any Health problem that you may have. He is a wonderful and caring physician and I hope he always stays in windsor.

I have been withnhime for about 5 years he is a great doctor very thorough

I have many friends who see him and have heard great things. However my experience with him was not good. I saw Dr. Coates for chronic back pain, which at that point I had been experiencing for over a year. After a few mobility tests he could not tell what was wrong. He did not order any tests or any follow-up, he simply instructed me to do stretches (which I told him I had already been doing, and were not working). A year later and I still have this pain, which has since spread to other areas. Dr. Coates completely failed to listen to me or take my pain seriously, as did other doctors at this same clinic when I booked appointments with them.

Have been a patient for over 3 years and dr. Coates has been a wonderful physician. He is caring and through. He can be quirky and unorthodox but it's part of his charm and I feel very comfortable with him. My health issues have been challenging the last year but he's been supportive and patient with me. So glad I found him as a family doctor

Dr Coates is a great doctor. He listens well and is very thorough discussing your diagnosis, lab results etc. His staff is very easy to talk to and responsive when you call.

Dr. Coates is a great doctor. He is thorough, and will take the time with his patients. Yes, that means sometimes you wait, but a good doctor takes the time needed with their patients. That is a plus. He is a one of a kind doctor, and I am grateful.

I can't speak highly enough about this doctor. If others say he runs late, he is far sooner to arrive to see you as opposed to other doctors I have seen, and any lateness can be attributed to his thoroughness with the prior patient, which he then takes with me, likely making the next person wait a bit, but it is a minor trade-off. He listens and is not condescending as others can be. He is like a badger in terms of digging until he finds a solution to your health issue. His knowledge is second to none, and his caring manner is not often found in doctors. For the person who said that he looks at his computer, well, how else is he supposed to check your medical history and test results? They don't use paper files anymore! I feel blessed to have this man as my doctor.
