Dr. Greg Massenelli did my arthroscopic knee surgery today and everything went well. Wether in the office or at the surgery center Dr. Massenelli’s bedside manner is always great and I feel confident about being under his care.

The office workers are nice but Dr Massanelli is very rude and unconcerned. I came in to get results of my MRI and he said nothing was showing wrong with my shoulder so I told him the nurse mentioned tendinitis on the phone. He says oh everyone has tendinitis you’ll just have to deal with it then when I asked what did he suggest next if therapy doesn’t work again and he told me I’m wasting my time going to sit in doctors offices and I just need to deal with it! He is saying this with a stern face and attitude while repeatedly cutting me off while I’m trying to explain how long I’ve had swelling and shoulder pain and I was just trying to give him a complete overview on what’s been going on with my shoulder and he wasn’t trying to hear any of what I was saying. He gave me a steroid shot and didn’t tell me what it was or the side effects of it nor did the papers I was given explain the steroid shot treatment I had received. I feel like he was handling me as if I was trying to get pain medication. This was my 1st visit to a orthopedic and I will be changing docs and getting a second opinion by someone who listens and hears their patients out because a doctor can’t properly treat you if he can’t hear out what’s going on with you.

I would highly recommend Dr. Massanelli. He and his staff are friendly, caring and professional. He did both of my hands carpal tunnel surgeries. I have had no problems. He has had years of experience and really knows what he is doing. This is one doctor I will not have to go out of town to see.
