We have struggled with finding the right mix of medications but I would not want another doctor helping me through this. He is wonderful. His staff has been wonderful as well.

In the three plus years that I’ve seen him as a patient, his arrogance and “frat boy” like attitude toward his patients continues to become abundantly clear. He’s NEVER done a physical exam. His flippant, passive aggressive attitude and approach to practicing his type of medicine has had me searching for another provider. He refuses to listen and “diagnoses” things with no clinical data or at the bare minimum a physical exam. If anyone from Mercy ever sees this, especially Eric Pianalto, you need to do a deep dive on this clown and how he practices “medicine.”

DR MILLS IS A VERY CARING DOCTOR HE CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS ALOT, I HAVE LUPIS AMONG OTHER THINGS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE TO HELP ME FEEL BETTER HE IS THE BEST !!!!!! AND THE STAFF IS OUTSTANDING VERY PLEASENT TO BE AROUND 5 STARES ALL THE WAY .

Dr. Mills has been the BEST rheumatologist I’ve ever had! He listens to everything I say and ALWAYS asks me what I want to do before changing my treatment plan. I’ve never had a doctor that cared to hear my opinion before changing my medications. He sincerely cares about his patients and their well-being.

I have been seeing Dr Mills for the past three years. Dr Mills has changed my meds every time he had to. Do to it not working for or made me sick. Tell he found the right med. Dr Mills is great and his staff is just as nice.

He's arrogant, elusive, likes to just shrug shoulders when asked a question. Doesn't take you or your concerns seriously. Doesn't do an exam to check progression of disease. If he makes a mistake, he blames you, and you pay the price. Once you get into a rheumatologist you're stuck. It takes 2+ years on a wait list to get into another one, if they even accept you! I cry because I'm stuck with him.

Every appointment with Dr Mills has left me feeling hopeless and helpless about my chronic illness. He doesn't listen and was unwilling to try any alternatives to his one original treatment plan.
