Great experience
The purpose of this comment is not to degrade anyone but this is for the people who are looking for the right cure for themself and their love ones. Very unprofessional Biopsy has done on me at this place. I was told it will heal after 2 weeks. It did not heal after 2 weeks and I have called there Office few times to get a medical attention but received no response so, I had no option but to look for another dermatologist, A friend of mine suggested University of Michigan. Over there, I was told the wound has infected so they have treated me with antibiotics. Definitely, I will not recommend anyone to go to this place.
Absolutely Amazing!!!
Twice I came in for a particular acute issue. Both times the issue was misdiagnosed, and indeed the "treatment regimen" that was prescribed exacerbated the issue and caused irreversible damage. It wasn't until I visited the University of Michigan, that the issue was correctly diagnosed. He runs a cosmetic procedure clinic as well. Based on my experience, I would not recommend either his Dermatology practice or his cosmetic procedure practice. I cringe when I think of my experiences there.
Dr Mahon turned my life upside down by putting me on a medication and not following up with blood work to make sure my body was functioning properly wasn't doing damage to my organs ,when I requested multiple times because of the symptoms I was experiencing. If I wouldn't have stopped going there and taking it upon myself to quit the medication I'd probably be in a grave. While all this was happening when starting the medicine, I was very nervous about all the side effects and having a hassle of getting set up with the medication ,I lost my job of 10 years. After 6 months of the medication not improving the problem that it was prescribed for, I picked myself back up and got a new job and quit the medication. Now the side effects are still ongoing, missing work again and I feel like I was left to treat myself on a medicine that can be very dangerous and can cause cancers. All I have to say is don't go to him he will ruin your life!
I love this practice. The staff is very friendly and responsive. I tried another Dermatologist and decided to come back Middlebelt.
Kept wanting me to come back to try this or try that and didn't seem to have a clue about much of anything. Billing practices are unethical and unresponsive. Never, ever again would I step foot in this practice.
This is one of the best office I have been to. Very helpful! Staff is great !
This was one of the worst doctors I've EVER seen. I went to have a couple moles checked and saw a resident who seemed fairly knowledgeble, but then the doctor came in and acted like I was a fool for wanting to have my moles checked. Isn't that something dermatologists are supposed to routinely do?!?!?! Then when I mentioned that the one mole that was on my stomach at my pants line was a little irritating he immediately said I should remove it and I felt very pressured to do so. He had a gaggle of students with him which I know he was trying to impress/teach (he was acting like quite the god and hot shot in front of them). I thought I would come back to have the mole removed, but he came in right away and did it so fast that I barely even knew what was happening! I hadn't even signed the consent form yet! I should have pressed charges. I wish I had. Then later I noticed that he had left just a small area of darker colored skin, so it looked terrible! This guy SUCKS. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!!
Overpriced, crap service, pathetic human beings in charge of people's health who should not be - I agree with ALL of the comments left below for this office. i just had dermatitis. Thankfully, it wasn't a life threatening skin issue like one of the other posters that they overlooked. To anyone reading this who is thinking about making an appointment with this doctor - These comments are here for a reason; to save you money, save your time, and spare your dignity. Head the advice

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
