List of Andrew D. Heinzelmann's Reviews
Dr Heinzelmann performed my shoulder surgery. I couldn't be more pleased with him or the results of the surgery. Dr Heinzelmann has a great bedside manner and explains every portion of the process. He and the staff at Ozark Orthopedics are quick, caring and professional. Thank You!!
And, there is ALWAYS, patients that don't do the therapy, that dont give good reviews.
When you have a shoulder issue, you would assume a good doctor would actually examine and do movement tests on the shoulder. Not the case here! He walked in, said xrays are normal, with some arthritis. Asked for some history. I told him I had an old injury and was experiencing nerve pain in upper arm and shoulder, as well of hand numbness. It was worse lately due to arm rotation and tight blood pressure cuff on recent heart cath. He asked me to raise my arm and that was the extent of the exam! I told him I’m having PT for other issues and they are starting me on some shoulder exercises and I wanted to make sure it was okay to do that, and he said it was. Said he was ordering a compounded cream to rub on shoulder, and walked out of room. Didn’t show me X-rays, didn’t exam shoulder, isn’t aware I have a shoulder bursa because he didn’t examine at all. ER doctor referred me to him, after telling me I have tendinitis in shoulder. WHY are there only 4 reviews showing out if 21 ?
Completely screeed up my child’s leg
I would recommend Dr. Andrew D Heinzelmann. He wad very informative to what was going on with my husbands left shoulder. Injury. Thank you again to Dr. Heinzelmann for listening to my husband.
This is by far THE MOST EFFICENT doctor I have ever seen. I am typing this at 3:50 from the parking lot. My appointment was for 3:45 . 2 x-rays, a doctor check and nurse in under 15 minutes total!! I have seen Dr Hinselman 4 times now and it's just as efficient every time. No 3 hours in several rooms then 5 minutes with a doctor like other clinics!!
I am very pleased with the outcome of my knee surgery. He is very good at explaining what he will be doing before surgery. He is very knowledgeable of his profession.
I had a bad rotator cuff tear. One tendon was completely torn off the bone, another two had partial tears. I had been like this for 14 years, ignorant of the depth of the injury. Dr. Heinzelmann was able to repair this old injury! I have full range of motion. I am now able to lift a tea pot and laundry basket without making things worse; both are things I was not able to do before. I am very satisfied. Thank you, Dr. Heinzelmann.
Honest with me and doing what was in my best interest seem to be his primary goal.Took the time for proper testing and diagnosis before saying surgery as compared to others that said exploration surgery was needed.Took the time to explain my procedure and expected recovery time answering questions very well so I could understand
Just a good Doctor. We could use many more like this intelligent and caring man. Enough said. griff

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
