Dr. Birch is a good communicator. Both she and her staff have taken good care of me. Dr. Birch has has a calm, smart way about her than makes me feel less anxious. I feel very safe with Dr. Birch as my doctor.
Dr. Candy Birch has been my doctor for over 15 years. She is such a kind person , has gentle hands, very knowledgeable and takes her time answering all your questions no matter how silly they may be. I'd recommend her 100%. Thank you Dr. Birch your awesome!!
Dr. Birch was very kind and answered all my questions. She's very gentle and never makes me feel awkward. She's such a great doctor. I've had her as my doctor over 15 years now...never had a bad experience. Thank you.
Dr Birch is profession yet approachable. She discusses option with patients vs making decisions for them. She is timely, proficient and promotes preventative care. She spends time with her patient face to face ,...not behind a computer!
She did not want to listen to me at all. I went for one thing and she forced me to have a Pap test. It was so painful and I couldn’t go through with it. She kept saying she can’t do it unless I’m relaxed. She should’ve seen how nervous I was and the pain I was in. Instead of checking if I was okay, she left the room. She was there for 5 mins max. I later found out From a different doctor that I have vaginismus and received proper treatment for it. I wish she had spent more time and been professional.
I saw several different OBGYNs before I found Dr. Birch in 2006, and I’ve been a patient of hers ever since. She LISTENS to me, works with me, never rushes through annual visits. She seems to care about the people she treats, not just shuttle patients through. It’s refreshing to have a doc who hears my concerns and doesn’t dismiss them.
I have been a patient of Dr Birch since 2006. She did my hysterectomy in 2008 and has done my annual check-ups since. She is an excellent physician and her bedside manner is wonderful. She takes her time to explain things and lets her patients ask questions until they do understand. Unlike some doctors, she is easily approachable and non-intimidating.
Timely, considerate, thoughtful. Enjoyed the office visit.
Awesome experience and does not mind natural birth as stated in the review that I read on here....she does not mind but does offer an epidural...there is nothing wrong with pain relief!
Awesome Dr!
Dr. Birch has a very proactive mentality vs. the "wait and see" approach. She genuinely cares for her patient's wellbeing and has a very gentle and sweet bedside manner. I've never had any problems making appointments and never wait longer than 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend Dr. Birch.
I find her and her staff to be extremely professional and friendly.
I have been a pt of Dr. Birch for 5+ years. She has always listened to my concerns and addressed them. I had robotic-assisted laproscopic total hysterectomy with removal of both ovaries 6 days ago. Even though she was surprised to find endometriosis, the surgery went as planned. I would recommend Dr. Birch and Her Health to my family and friends.
Dr. Birch delivered my second my baby boy after other Drs. refused to do so as I was high risk. She was always very helpful, understanding, patient, and attentive. She explained things and made me feel at ease even when I began to have contractions while in my 5 month. She did everything that she should (obviously as my baby boy was delivered full term and healthy) and I was very happy with my entire experience while under her care.
The whole staff at Her Health is awful! I was supposed to have my cervix checked today, I'm 35 weeks pregnant having bad contractions that start in my back and work their way towards the front. It was pains I haven't had before. I got put into a room at 1:01 p.m and left at 1:09 p.m. I wasn't able to ask any questions at all she seemed like she was more interested in just checking the heart beat of my baby instead of asking any questions or answering any of mine! I WOULD NOT recommend Dr. Birch!
I found Dr. Birch to be a very caring doctor. I am older and have had a complete hystorectomy 19 years ago. She treated me as thoroghly as she would have any younger woman at my exam and was quick to diagnose and treat my problem. Her friendliness put me at ease in the very beginning of our doctor/patient relationship. I will continue to see her as long as I need gynocological care.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to deliver with my original doctor as she had left on vacation the day before I went into labor. Dr. Birch delivered my son instead. I was very firm about having a natural delivery with no epidural. The first time I met Dr. Birch was in triage where she asked me why I wanted to have a natural birth. I explained it was just something that was important to me and I wanted to do it. That is not the time to make changes to your birth plan! Then when we actually checked in and I was enduring real contractions she came in and asked if I wanted an epidural yet because I wouldn't have to go through this pain and it would be much easier! I really didn't like her! I guess if you plan on having an epidural maybe she would be totally fine, but if you want to have a natural birth steer clear she's totally pro epidural!
I like her okay. She answers questions clearly and explains the medical terms used. I've had to wait an hour or longer at times.
Her bedside manner isn't the best. She does not listen to patients very well, and wasn't very caring.
The docotr does not take time to explain anything to her patient. She does not listen to them when they say they have a post op complication. She just dismisses your concerns.
