R. Bryan Benafield's Online Review Report Card

My right shoulder hurt and didn't work - I did not expect much positive relief and especially when I learned that I needed a total reverse shoulder replacement. That surgery has not been around for a long time and seemed to me to be a last-ditch effort with few probable positive results expected. But then, Dr. Benefield performed - for me - an amazing surgery. With my arm in a sling, I returned home in one day, went to therapy and within one month, I could move my arm above my head, with minimal pain. Dr. B. is an extremely competent physician - that's understatement like saying Shakespeare was an okay dramatist. He like to do what he does - I think because he is a skilled perfectionist, really likes to help and heal --- and he is a really fine person.

I would recommend Dr. Benafield to anyone in need of his services.  He is very professional and I felt like he listened to my concerns and truly cared about the success of my surgery.  He explained everything he would be doing in a fashion that put me at ease.  I had surgery on my shoulder.  I am 90 days out from my procedure and have NO pain in my shoulder after dealing with very bad pain for 5+ years.  As I told Dr. Benafield, "He changed my life!"

I had a large tear in my rotator cuff (which i had put off fixing for 5 years)and was referred to Dr Benafield by my doctor. He was very nice. Very professional. He thoroughly explained to me about my problem and options to fix it. He was concerned i had waited too long for a good repair. He was very patient with me and answered all my questions. I decided on surgery. He did an EXCELLENT JOB!! I got a great repair! I started physical therapy 5 days later at his facility. (Where the therapist were awesome!! Extremely knowledgable, professional, helpful and very nice.)I have full range of motion and the presurgery pain is gone! I will be continuing home PT for some time. I would highly recommend Dr Benafield!!!

Dr. Benafield has proved himself to be an excellent physician for me and my family. He has performed carpel tunnel release & removed a foreign object from my finger, and, repaired extensive damage done to my son's thumb after a table saw accident. On every occasion his office has been very helpful in making appointments for us with consideration to our specific need or urgency. Dr. Benafield has a calm presence. He always takes time to listen and hear my concerns, and explains to me what my "ailment" is and what my choices are for accomplishing "the cure".

I had carpel tunnel and ulna release surgeries done by Dr. Benafield. I have been very pleased with the results of the surgeries and have had no problems at all. I appreciate Dr. Benafield's expertise and kindness...he answered any questions I had and it has been a very good experience. I definitely would recommend Dr. Benafield.

Dr. Benafield and the staff with which he works are superb. My hand surgery (left and right) for trigger fingers were a total success. The Ozark Group was very accommodating. The only off putting facet was checking in and out (very slow).

5 years ago I had a left rotator cuff repair. When I began to have pain in my rt shoulder earlier this year I chose to see Dr Benafield again as I was pleased with the previous surgery results

Dr Benafield was great to work with on my carpel tunnel surgery. He was straight forward, communicated well, and provided a successful surgery.
