Andrew Balford Riche's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Riche is the best obgyn. He has been my doctor for 13years. He is very experienced with the best bedside manners. I recommend him to anyone looking an obgyn.

I used Dr. Riche for my pregnancy almost 8 years ago. I was new to the area and asked my coworkers(fellow Mercy employees) who they used and recommended and nearly all said Riche. He was incredibly thorough! He was so patient and caring. He doesn t do BS and is conservative in his practice which in today s society isn t for everyone . He checked on me before clinic, on his lunch, and after clinic. He was in there the entire 2+ hours I pushed. As an experienced clinician myself I KNOW quality healthcare and what goes on behind hospital doors and chose Dr Riche with confidence.

His lack of concern and care almost killed me. I mean that in the most literal sense. I spent several days in the hospital all because Riche did not take the time or have the consideration to listen and examine me fully. He was incredibly rude, spoke down to me constantly and would never answer questions. Because of this, I went to another doctor in town. Luckily, that doctor examined me and immediately sent me to the ER. Because Riche is affiliated with Mercy, the hospital contacted him to let him know one of his patients had been admitted. Once we were able to speak, he was furious that I went to another doctor and as he said pitted other doctors opinions against him. If you are looking for a knowledgable OB/GYN with a good bedside manner, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The doctor that saved my life is no longer in the Fort Smith health system or I would recommend her.

Dr. Richie is smart, precise, and supportive. You can tell that he takes to heart his profession and puts a lot of effort into making sure you get the best treatment for your situation all the while being reassuring and always having the answer to any question. I feel obligated to give this review. When I think of Andrew Riche I think nightmare. My experience with him having my child was horrible. He seemed ok until my last appointment before it was time to give birth. Dr. Riche is excellent. Extremely caring, informative and explains everything thoroughly. Has excellent bedside manner and takes his time making sure you are comfortable. Listens and answers your questions. The staff is wonderful also very caring and sweet. Definitely recommend!

I would not recommend Riche to anyone. Ignored my request to be seen after complications from a procedure and I ended up in the hospital for nearly a week. Situation could have been avoided if Riche had taken responsibility and handled sooner. Too prideful to be an OB/GYN.

Doctor seem very unsure of himself, just didn't feel comfortable under his care.

He saved my life!!! Made it to where I will be able to attend my daughter's graduation!!!!!!
