List of Beena Syed's Reviews
Dr. Syed is a calm, personable & professional Physician.
I really did a thorough search when I decided to my change primary care physician. I spoke to friends and contacts in the medical field in Fort Smith and Dr. Syed's name was shared more than once. Dr. Syed is thorough, speaks to you in terms you can understand, responds to patient questions and most importantly, listens. Dr. Syed offers options for her patients to consider when discussing health issues. I'm very happy with her and pleased with her and the clinic's care.
Not a new patient! Try to get in to see her to discuss about the meds she has me on and get told earliest I can get in is 4 and half months from now
Dr. Syed is an excellent physician. She listens to you, understands your medical needs, and works with you to achieve and maintain good health and quality of life. If need be: she will refer you to, and work with a specialist. Her goals are your good health and quality of life. I would highly recommend her as your primary care physician.
Get another opinion. My step mom was grossly ignored by this doctor when she had a chronic cough, pain in chest, etc. all warning signs of something bigger. She continued to dismiss any serious symptoms. Appointments were weeks/months apart. This was Nov 2021. 6 months later and an emergency room visit, my step mom has been diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. This dr could have cared just a little more, 6 months earlier. Find another doctor and if that s impossible, get a second opinion!!!
Dr. Syed is excellent
I do not know why she is getting such high marks my mother and l had an absolutely horrible experience. First when l had my first appointment with her we were in the middle of a huge stressful move from Texas and l am on disability so had to go through that mess and Ft. Smith SSI office were hateful and putting me through 10x extra stress. She obviously knows nothing about fibromyalgia or any of my other conditions or my mother's or the effects extreme stress has on my fibromyalgia or my mental struggles. And they were asking a bunch of questions they had no business asking SHE IS NOT A PSYCHIATRIST AND NONE OF HER STAFF ARE EITHER SO ASKING PSYCHIATRIC REALATED QUESTIONS IS COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE. I made it clear everything l was going through the move ect. and extreme stress just extremely spiked my conditions but l was in no way rock bottom or anything and let me say again this was the fist freaking appointment just meeting her and she knew nothing about me AND SHE WANTED TO STICK ME IN A PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL AND THAT WAS UNCALLED FOR AND EXTREMELY UPSETTING FOR ME and then she put on the chart l was 'in denial ' when l did not say any such thing. She again obviously has no clue about fibromyalgia all she ever did was nag about diet and exercise and if she knew about conditions like fibromyalgia she would know how hard that is. It was the same broken record every visit. Then l unfortunately have to be on foodstamps and she was told this yet still expected l could eat extra healthy on that. Also at one time l lost 4 to 5 pounds and she said nothing guess she expected me to crash diet. Then this last time she had nurses that didn't even know how to do blood pressure right and could not get a prescription right. Then my mom was sick and had at least 100 degree temperature and they saw she was sick, did not take her temperature and gave her a flu shot then she got extremely sick luckily she didn't end up in the hospital and we are not suing her for malpractice. Do not go to this woman do yourself a favor and get someone better
Dr. Syed is very thorough and very professional. She takes a genuine interest in you as an individual.
I love Dr Syed. But I think she schedules herself to many patients and spreads herself to thin! I had to calm down before writing this review because it would have not been so nice! First of all I have been a patient of hers for over 3 years not sure exactly how long but I had an appointment today at 2. I was late (my fault for not leaving earlier) the construction on the hwy is awful and makes your commute take 15 mins longer then normal. I was 15 mins late! I called to let them know and they told me they would call me back. Well I got there faster then it took for them to call me back. I desperately needed this appointment!! I waited TWO MONTHS for this appointment. They refused to see me! I know it was my fault for being late but I would have sat in that waiting room longer then the amount of time I was late! This only made my anxiety 10 times worse! Now I am without proper medication over 15 mins. I know there are tardy rules but I have been a patient with her for so long and it was only 15 mins. They tried to reschedule my appointment and I told them if it was going to be weeks then forget it! Good thing I m not suicidal. It would have been much worse! She lost me as a patient today. I called Dr cox office and they where able to get me in AS A NEW PATIENT within 2 weeks!!! Much better customer service. Doctors please stop over scheduling yourselves! That s how you lose your patients!!
She is an excellent doctor. She listens to your problem, makes her diagnosis, and includes you in her discussion. Dr. Syed is very thorough and complete in her exam whether you are sick or just there for a wellness checkup. She remembers your family and ask about them. She really makes you feel cared for.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
