Was recently diagnosed with Crohn s disease and have been waiting for months just to receive my medication and they are being no help

Dr. Richardson is very professional and explains problems in words that anyone can understand. His staff is very caring. I wouldn't use anyone else.

Dr. Richardson is professional, easy to talk to and explains everything that is going on. I feel very comfortable with Dr. Richardson. I feel that I'm very fortunate to have him as one of my physicians.

On my first new patient appt and without looking at my records he was very rude and intimidating asking me over and over why was I there?!! I tried my best to explain after my old dr of 12 years told me to get a certain procedure to help and he said I needed an ENT. he barely looked at me and then said he'd see me in 6 months!! I waited 2 hrs & 45 minutes only to walk out in disbelief. He said he'd set me up w/ENT but I didn't hear from them so after 3 weeks of waiting I found one. I also needed a refill and took 4 or 5 days for a call back & that was only after complaining to the hospital! Told the nurse my complaints & concern about my treatment there so she set me up with the NP who was almost as bad only she wasn't rude to my face but I heard her in the hall asking, only who I assume was the dr if he heard all that ?!!! So once again I left in disbelief!! She also said she would add a couple medications and none were called to my pharmacy so here we go again ...cant go through my mercy because it doesnt work!! I dont understand how some drs treat their patients with no respect or compassion. They're supposed to be held to a higher standard and signed a hippocratic oath to do just that. I'm thoroughly disgusted and upset because there arent very many gastroenterologists in this area to choose from. Hopefully they read their patients reviews and take them seriously. Only good thing I am grateful for is he was very kind and compassionate to my daughter. What the heck!!?? I am new to the area and do not know where to go from here. I have little faith I will ever get decent care from this office. What arrogant a*#holes!!!!

My experience with Dr Richardson has been very positive. He is very friendly and takes time to explain everything.

Dr Richardson was my mother s liver specialist, she seen her primary care & they concluded her liver levels were way high. She seen him and at the first visit he told her she needed to stop drinking alcohol. She told him she doesn t drink. Did them again at the next appointment & her levels were even higher. He proceeded to call her a liar & raised his voice as he did so telling her she needs to stop drinking and that there s no way she isn t drinking. My mother hasn t drank alcohol in over 25 years. Instead of addressing the liver levels and finding the real source of the problem, he continues to tell her drinking is her problem at every appointment and doesn t even take the time to listen to her when she has questions or concerns. Definitely don't recommend!

This was my 3rd proceedure with Dr Richardson. Each time he was both professional and nice to me. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Richardson has performed two colonoscopys on me one three years ago at which time he was great,very professional and friendly.The one I had today his staff was great but him not so much he was abrupt and rushed in the pre & post consult.I gave him three stars because I am giving him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he was just having an off day. When having a procedure I want to be put at ease not feel unease. Not sure if I will use him again.

One star and I never seen him. He rescheduled my appointment one time and they just called and wanted to reschedule me again because he would be out of the office. I've been trying to see someone for 6 months about my problem and this is BS. Very unprofessional to do people that way. He don't need to be in this profession . It is bad that Mercy allies this to happen .
