He diagnosed and took care of my issue quickly after I was admitted to the hospital. When he came to my hospital room I was having a little bit of an emotional breakdown. He asked me what was wrong? I told him I was a little frustrated because I hadn’t had anything to eat or drink for a day and a half, was waiting for a doctor to come in and they’re probably going to shut down the O.R. soon (it was getting to be late afternoon). He was so sweet, he told me he could get the OR anytime he wanted it, and sat right down on my bed then and there and called the O.R. to get everything set up. He was very comforting and I felt like he really cared. I would highly recommend him.

Have used Dr. McElroy for many surgeries over the past 15 yrs. He takes time for your questions, very good bedside manners and does a great job with minimal scaring. Would recommend him for any surgery needs.

I had two simple outpatient procedures by Dr. McElroy. I have to have these procedures done every year and have gone as far as Cleveland Clinic to have it done. I will never have anyone else do these procedures as long as Dr. McElroy stays local. His bedside manner and level of care was better than anything I had ever experienced. He helped control my comfort level. Even though this was routine for me, he never treated it as though it was routine. He took the procedures seriously and gave me, without a doubt, the best care I have ever received.

Wonderful doctor. Very thorough and to the point which I like. My incision looks great. His office staff is amazing and compassionate also. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things. During a time that is scary and uncomfortable he is definitely the surgeon I would want in my corner.
