James Leon Cheshier's Online Review Report Card

Good luck getting anything done with this guy. He's inattentive and doesn't even do his job. The staff are equally terrible and very rude.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. This is the WORST office & doctor I've ever dealt with. I was referred here for my 4month old child. He called my son a "piggy" and when I brought him in for a weight check the doctor verbatim said "...let's see how FAT you've gotten." He refused to listen to me and my husband when we tried to explain all of the things my son was hospitalized for & even disregarded what his ER doctor said about some scar tissue on his lungs. The ER doctor wanted a follow up x-ray ordered and he told me "No." The office neglected to do several referrals my son needed. His sooner care manager had to call them 6+ times to try to get some papers sent over to her so my son could have an appt in Little Rock (the hospital he was discharged from) I even called and the lady tried to tell me I wasn't his mom and told me I had to go down there and prove it. I had to drive 40 mins to this office so I could get them to finally send the paper work I needed because it was the last day to get that in or I would of had to reschedule and I already requested off work for this appt. They were INCREDIBLY RUDE to me. Treated me like I was stupid. So the doctor is horrible, front workers are horrible, AND the lady who works in the back with refferals is god awful as well!!

Dr. Chesire is NOT a good doctor . very dismissive. My child almost died in his care.

This Dr is great kinda quiet, but he is very very knowable.

Botched circumcision. He will have to have it done again. It was hard enough the first time. Now, I have to see my little guy suffer for another two or three weeks.

I've been using Dr. Cheshier for over 20 years. He has always been attentive, helpful, and very encouraging to my children, my husband, and myself very step of the way with both of my children and other children that I have taken to him. He has always been available and returned my calls within 15 minutes at all hours of the day or night.

Just spent 7 days in the hospital Bc my 10 week old daughter started to refuse to eat all together due to her reflux. She was diagnosed failure to thrive. She would cry all the time, vomit and refuse to eat. I felt like Dr. Cheshier was blowing off my concerns so I made the decision to switch Peds. My LO is now on meds, thickened formula/ breast milk for milk allergy. We also went home with a feeding tube. This all could have been caught earlierif Dr. Cheshier would have listened to my concerns.

I wouldn't trust this guy with a gold fish

I have been taking my daughter to Dr. Cheshier for 6 months and he shows no care for his patients. Quick in-and-out appointments, everything is always fine. This week I took her to him with a fever and a deep cough, he said everything was fine. I took her to the emergency room tonight and she has pneumonia in both lungs. Go anywhere else. Cheshier is the worst.

Wow, I've never been so talked down to and treated so rudely by someone in the medical profession ever!!! I will never go back or recommend him to anyone. Everyone that works there BUT him is awesome, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, HE DOES NOT CARE.
