The nurse practitioner was very dismissive and didn't listen to my concerns about my child, shrugged them off as nothing even though family has a history of reflux and cows milk allergy.

Do not bring your child here if you are co-parenting!!! My son’s father forgot to put me on the parent section of the new patient paperwork forms; when I called the secretary was extremely rude with me and told me that she was told my son “did not have a mother”. Then promptly backpedaled and said she was accidentally looking at someone’s else’s chart though she just had my son’s pulled up and had released that he had been put on medication. After she provided me information about my son’s visit, she then said she was unable to add my name and phone number because of HIPPAA. How is confirming him being a patient there as well as telling me that he’s on certain medication not PHI and a HIPPAA violation? Rightfully so, I was extremely frustrated at that point, at which point her response to the frustration she caused was “maybe you should seek care with another provider”. VERY unprofessional, unhelpful and unsympathetic.

My grandson sees him and I take him to some of his appointments. He is a very good Dr and will take time to explain everything and answer all questions. I highly recommend.

My family moved here a couple years ago and have since been looking for that "text book amazing pediatrician" and also a family doctor. There's SO MANY rude receptionists and doctors in fort smith that just don't care!! However, calling this facility was a breath of fresh air. I've never been treated so kindly by a receptionist since we moved here. Unfortunately, they dont accept champ VA insurance at this time so my children can't go here but I felt the urge to leave this review due to the amazing customer service and helpful employee. If they accept my insurance in the future, this will be our new pediatrician, I've heard rave reviews from neighbors, friends and an urgent care doctor recommended him as well. I hope this place stays in business for generations to come. A+

Dr. Whitaker and his staff are by far the best pediatrician we have ever dealt with. He sees our kids, always listens to our concerns, explains anything that may be confusing and has probably the best bedside manner I have seen.

I've used Dr. Whitaker since 1998. Kind and professional staff. Most importantly, we've never waited long (typically 10 minutes) for our appointment which means A LOT to me.

The last two times we have been here. We have waited longer then in an hour waiting to see the doctor. With two kids it's just unacceptable. We will be changing pediatricians

The Dr is nice and we've been going to him for 3 years but it's not worth going through his horrible wife to see him. She's the office "manager". All she's "managed" to do is ruin her husbands name and practice.
