List of Melissa Callahan Rainwater's Reviews
Dr. Rainwater is AMAZING and treats every concern no matter how small. She fit me in when I was nervous about feeling my son not moving. Then after my c section and the amount of blood I lost she called in the middle of the night to check on me. She made me feel super important!
My first time meeting Dr. Rainwater was when my twins were ready to be born. Dr. Rainwater had already done at least four deliveries prior to my arrival. I was told she just laid down for a quick nap when I came in and the nurses were joking with each other about how this happens. I was fully expecting Dr. Rainwater to be completely exhausted and grumpy from lack of sleep but I was surprised!!! She responded quickly, introduced herself to me, and took time to speak with me before the c-section and I was put at ease knowing even tired, she was going to make sure everything was okay. She delivered my twins happily, and I want to make it clear, My C-section scar after looked better than it did when I had my first c-section with a different doctor 8yrs prior! I am very happy with her service, care, and skill at making my scar "prettier" than it was previously lol.
Did not treat my twin pregnancy as high risk, would not listen to me when I told her I was having issues, wouldn’t give me the lung development shot when I asked and then I went into preterm labor and have a severely mentally and physically handicapped child Because of lack of oxygen During and after birth.
My doctor retired so I had to switch, on a whim I chose Dr. Rainwater. Couldn't be happier. She's very energetic, personable and thorough. Very happy with my decision to see her.
She was the best dr while I was pregnant and while I was in labor also the post pardum care was good.
She made me feel like I was being a baby about my symptoms. "You can call it peri-menopause" if you have to call it something." This when I told her something was wrong. I insisted something was wrong. It was. She missed something. She not only discounted what I was saying, she failed to diagnose. If you are having a baby she will treat you well. If you are older, not pregnant, find another doctor.
Got in on time and she was very sweet and understanding. Asked a lot of questions about what I wanted and seemed interested. Went back for an ultrasound on a Friday got called in on time as well minimal wait time. The nurse told me they would call me back with my results on Monday but an hour later they called me back with my results!
I feel totally ignored by Dr. Rainwater. I waited 5 months for an appt and spent the next 13 months without a diagdiagnosis. She just continued giving me various birth controls even when I explained they were not working and were causing more problems. I feel totally ignored and discouraged and am suffering without an answer. I really wanted to use her as my doctor, but I can no longer continue seeing her with no relief.
I LOVE Dr. Rainwater. She has delivered both of my children and is my Gynecologist. She is amazing and I would recommend her to everyone!
LOVE THIS WOMAN! She has delivered all three of my babies. Interested in my questions, concerns and family!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
