He is the best Cardiologist, has a great nurse. I feel like I’m in good hands!

He didn't like having to explain the heart cath procedure. He just expects you to just sign the release that SAYS he explained the procedure, risk, etc. It also authorized them to do whatever they deem necessary.

Dr Kantola is the BEST. HE HAS KEPT MY MOTHER alive after covid. She is 91 and has congestive heart failure. He changed her meds and she has been doing good ever since. He visited her in the hospital several times he is all business and tells it like it is. We love Dr Kantola

I feel very confident in my medical treatment with Dr. Kantola.

Great Doctor

I Have Been Going To Him For 2 Years Now. I Had Congested Heart Failure And Had A Really Low Chance of Making It. He Has Turned Me Around And I Am Doing Great. I Feel I Am Back To 100%, And It's Because of His Help. He Does Not Have The Best Bedside Manner, But That's Something I Got Used To And It's No Longer An Issue. He Doesn't Beat Around The Bush or Sugarcoat Anything, That Is For Sure. But That Is What We Need Sometimes. He Has Done Wonders For Me And I Am Glad He Is My Doctor. Yes, I Would Recommend Him If You Want To Get Better, But Don't Expect Someone That Is Going To Shoot The Crap With You, He Is Not That Guy, And That Has Worked Out Great For Me. Thank You Dr. Kantola. :)

Been a patient of Dr. Kantola now for 6 year's, I don't think I'll ever get used to his Dry sense of humor but I can honestly say Dr. Kantola is the best by far. The best thing I can tell other's is Respect him he has a very stressful job keeping many of us alive. I'm truly blessed to say Dr. Kantola is my Cardiologist don't wish this on anyone but if it has to be he is the best. Thanks Dr. Kantola I appreciate you for keeping me alive and for your thoughtful ways and listening to me always. I'm updating since 2 years ago how do I feel about Dr. Kantola still the same I'll always be grateful to him he was always the best to me. These bad reviews are one sided and until I hear his side I refuse to believe he is the monster people paint him to be. He isn't here to entertain anyone he is here to take care of the sick. If you don't want a doctor that is doing a good job and doesn't play around with you then this is the place for you. Funny I still believe in this doctor and he hasn't been my doctor for over 2vyears. Make your own opinion and I assure you he is great at his job.

Very Negative Experience! Was transferred from a smaller hospital to Baptist. Laid on ER Gurney for 13 hours because no rooms available. Kantola wakes me up with a loud booming voice demanding answers, just as I woke up! Get transferred to the floor, passing THREE EMPTY ROOMS (one across from nurse’s station) They put me in a 4th room, AND LOSE ME FOR 5 HOURS!!! Would have been longer, but I finally pressed the call button for headache relief. Nurse comes bouncing in laughing that she didn’t even know I was in room! Dr. Kantola performed surgery, and requested another dr’s assistance because I was having arterial problems from stent insertion, while he goes to waiting room to chastise my girlfriend and repeat several times I was hanging by a thread. She was crying when she came to my icu recovery room, saying we didn’t even live together! “Hanging by a thread” is not a good determination after having been in their care for 20+ hours! Followed up with Mercy Hospital!

Very rude, uncaring, had me in tears and frightened,I left the hospital imediately I did not want that doctor touching me!!!!!

Dr. Kantola may be a good cardiologist but his bedside manner is pathetic. He won't even smile at his patients. He doesn't like you to ask questions which to me is a huge problem for most people, as most patients who are seeing a cardiologist will have quetions for him. I won't be going back, ever!
