Just wanted everyone to know how much I appreciate dr.phomakay and his nurses. Dr.Phomakay and nurses listen and take care of me so well. I had so much trouble finding an honest doctor until I met dr.phomakay I fill so safe having him for a family doctor.. having dr.phomakay for a primary doctor makes me fill like I will be around for a long time to take care of my wife son and daughter..thank you for making me feel how valuable my life is in your hands.. recommend anyone they listen and take care of you for your family..
Best doctor very caring and attentive.
He is the very best doctor. I was very sick and switched doctors 4 years ago. He listened to each concern I had as well. Its rare find a doctor of his caliber that really cares about you. He is so kind and caring. I am very impressed with his expertise and I trust him. I am quite sure I would have died without him. I dont know how to else to express my gratitude and want everyone in our community to know just how kind he is to his patients. Its a good feeling to know I can count on him. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good family doctor.
He is the very best doctor and I am grateful. He addresses each concern I bring up and then some. He is very nice and kind. Our community is fortunate to have his experience, skill, and manner. I have been going to him for 4 years. I was very sick and just exhausted. I had so many problems that I didn't know where to start. It take time to heal when your really sick. I thought I was going to die because I was so sick. I gradually started improving with treatment and now I can't believe how much better I am. What the ironic thing was I never was without a doctor. It is just I could not get one to listen to me because I knew stuff about me that turned out was true. I am thankful to Dr. V. Phomakay and I am going to keep him.
He is the very best doctor around. He is very attentive and because he is thorough and caring; I am quite sure I owe him my life. How do you thank a doctor like that? It is very self assuring to be his patient. I just don't know how to thank him. He is top notch and maybe writing this is one way I can say thank you.
One of my favorite docs in town.
Best Doctor because he is very kind and he take the time to listen and help you with things. He is the best and you should go see him!!
Dr. Phomakay has been my family Doctor for years now, he's so caring and super funny. I love Dr. Phomakay he's the best Dr. In Fort smith!
He has been my doctor over 15 years and has been told every time my allergies and things I am allergic and I find today he doesn't have but a few of them listed I don't know if fault is him his staff or the changing so often of computer systems . All I know is I am very unhappy.
I have serious medical troubles. I have 4 autoimmune disorders and an ostomy. While my mother was in the hospital due to a stroke, he refused to prescribe ostomy supplies, without seeing me. I had to go into his office and wait to be seen, while I was having a leak. He didn’t seem concerned that I had feces coming out all over my skin, giving me burns, due to lack of ostomy supplies. Instead, he wanted to have a conversation about what had happened to me?! Well, it wouldn’t bother me so much had it not been for the fact that we had already discussed my 15+ surgeries that I had to have to save my life. He apparently doesn’t keep records of his patients or he wouldn’t have asked questions about what we had talked about in my last visit. Also, Today is Tuesday. I asked him to call something in for an infection and it was an entire day before his nurse called me back only to tell me to get OTC medication. I need a prescription! This is the same thing he did last month! I’m not pleased and will be switching my PCP tomorrow. For those of you that don’t know what ostomy supplies are, it’s completely to cover a hole in your stomach. It cannot be abused in any way, also, no needles required... so why is it so difficult to get NEEDED medical supplies for Americans?!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
