I had received some more unfavorable results from the MRI and my surgeon added he NEEDED my consent for surgery first thing in the morning... are you serious....NO!!!....I had just had surgery a few days ago.....I just wanted everything and everyone to go away let me...I don't know...just leave me alone...everyone tried convincing me that I needed the second surgery and one by one I sent them fleeing. Well in comes Dr. Williams and I was ready for him too, or so I thought. He did his regular everyday doctor bedside convo. then just when I was about to tell him it's not going to work go away, he said something that no one else had. He asked me who was I making the decision for? I looked at him like he was crazy. My body, my decision. He said I remember you telling me that you take care of your bedridden Mom and your two sons, just thought you would've included them in something this important especially since Dr. Macauley is the best surgeon this hospital has and not having the surgery is life threatening but you have a blessed day and I pray I'll see you tomorrow. I truly love him. He honestly has no idea how much of an impact he has on my life. I was discharged before I got a chance to properly thank him. I pray he reads these reviews and that he remembers the fussing Buchanan lady on the 4th floor.

I arrived at the hospital in anaphylactic shock and was in a coma for 19 days. Dr. William's provided the requisite care to preserve my life and the opportunity for me to leave the hospital whole and to continue a life worth living. He he is highly skilled, yet humble. His bedside manor is the best I have seen in my 60 plus years as a patient or an advocate for a family member in hospital care.

I was greatly impressed by Dr. Williams effective clinical skills. His skill allowed me to not only survive an extreme case of angioedema, but progress beyond expectations and transition directky from hospital to home and not require a month long stay in a nursing home or rehab facility. He focuses on the patient he is with. He listened and heard me, I received excellent care.
