Wonderful experience, the staff and Dr, Ekpo were amazingly friendly and informative.

Update - Aug 25th 2023 - Have upcoming appt for visit at 15 month checkpoint post FUT surgery, hair thinning alot in the frontal area. This area was THE main reason I got the surgery. Not dense at all. You can still see light on my scalp in the frontal area. My last visit I expressed the same concern. Reached out to physician and staff to inform that it is thinning more. Will update review on outcome of visit, prognosis, diagnosis. Sept 28, 2023 update: Dr. Ekpo has outlined the area where I still have a bald spot in the frontal hair line, where the FUT surgery was performed. She has finally agreed that FUE is a better solution instead of another FUT to remove more of my scalp, wasn't going to happen. Now we have gone through many visits, which I will update the details later depending on the outcome. I received a pricing estimate for her to redo the surgery for this area. I will not pay a 2nd time for a surgery that you did not execute well the first time. I've sent my last email correspondence on finalizing the estimate. Now she is not responsive, her staff is now saying the emails go to the company and after review will be sent to her. I am not going to play these games. So I will proceed via my attorney, where these cost to resolve would have been alot less. I've already consulted with the attorney and kept her up to date. The party that prevails in this lawsuit will have attorney fees recovered. I will be seeking damages. Her medical malpractice insurance will increase. I will continue to post updates. In the meantime, a physician that is not willing to correct their mistakes and be accountable is a red flag. None of her treatments are guaranteed results. She does not tell the truth with all risks and options. She makes decisions for you without your knowledge. Medical care is a collaborative effort. This is probably why she no longer accepts insurance. Another option, I have no problem going to a different doctor to correct her work, she needs to refund my money in this case.

Great bedside manner and extremely knowledgeable. The staff at the office were also very kind and thoughtful. I was very comfortable and felt at ease when the questions I had were answered with great detail and in laymen’s terms.
