Dismissed the pain I was in & laughed and said “drink more water”
Complained of pain when urinating and low back pain. I believed I had something wrong with my kidneys or liver. "Dr." Clifton refused to address my concerns or needs he proceeded to treat me like a junkie, saying things such as "I am not giving you narcotics," and "You were just prescribed narcotics a few months ago. Why are you here if you still have narcotics?" I am not surprised to see others having this same issue. Please use caution...
Dr. Clifton is awesome ! He is a man of faith and medicine. He takes the time needed for each patient, you do not feel like a number or just ran through like a herd of cattle. He cares about his patients and their families. His staff is the very best. They are professional, friendly, and run the office with ease. They have been with myself and other family members for years, thru the good and the sad. If you need a doctor, I highly recommend Dr. Clifton, with the utmost confidence.
As soon as I saw Dr. Clifton he asked about illegal drug use, then he began accusing me of being a street drug abuser. He was cocky (with no reason to be) and unprofessional.
Great doctor. Very knowledgable and friendly- have seen doctor Clifton for years
He doesn't care about patients. told me my medications were none of my business to just take what he told me to. the one time i did do that i ended up in the hospital. he is NOT concerned with what is actually wrong- he diagnoses you by looking at you. told me my heartburn problems and being tired all the time were because i was fat and lazy. i weigh 150lbs.
very friendly & smart!
I have been a patient for over 3 years. On several occassions I would go in for a problem and he would be set on it being a certain thing, but when tests would show he was wrong he would just be like, Oh well there is nothing I can do for you. I think its wrong for him to push the problem aside. Give a referral, something.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
